Offers different specials everyday. Game available. Atmosphere unique to area. Easy to locate. Service outstanding and helpful.
This is by far our favorite restaurant anywhere! Amazing staff, and the food in incredible! We make this a must stop everytime!
My husband loves wild game, and we've driven twice into Jackson Wyoming to eat at the Gun Barrel Restaurant there. This time, we drove down to St. George to dine at the Gun Barrel. The day we arrived it was fairly crowded, and really quite noisy as there were two or three parties going on and people were standing around... More
One of their house specialties was buffalo prime rib. It had great flavor and was extremely tender. They also offered an elk steak which also was flavorful and tender. The service was good, and the restaurant was easy to get in even without reservations. The decor was fitting the menu and the prices were fair.
The atmosphere is great, the service was excellent. Food was fresh, warm, and tasted good. But it is expensive for what you get ... my salmon was almost $30 for about 10 oz. If you are looking for a nice night out with a sweetheart, and like the "hunting lodge" feel, this would be your place. I just didn't think... More
Each time we visit St George, we have dinner at this restaurant. My husband loves the game choices. I happened to want bbq sauce on my dinner last May and discovered their own label. It was so good, I bought a bottle to take home to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, I ended up needing a "gift" so I had to give... More
Compared to a lot of new restaurants in this town, still very near the top of the list. Am partial to the buffalo meats as healthy and relatively unavailable anywhere. Try a Buffalo Burger if you haven't before as it's the most affordable. Otherwise, you'll find a fairly diverse menu. The staff is always aiming to please.
Went to a couple of these in chain. Food is good from appetizers to desserts. Service was great. Have not gone back recently because we enjoy same or better food elsewhere at lower costs.
Wanted to experience real American steak and weren't disappointed. Even my wife who doesn't eat much red meat, had the Cheyenne Tenderloin Fillet which she loved. Super atmosphere, great staff, delicious food.
Excellent food, good service-server having a bad day, but hey, it happens to all of us! Elk medallions with demi glace, outstanding... Mixed Grill, elk steak, buffalo rib & reg prime rib was scrumptious. Going back real soon... worth the drive from Vegas!
