New location. Not as good as they were

I've been to several Cafe Rio in my time and this was the worst one ever. First, when we entered and stood at the ordering area, no one acknowledge us. There were several teenaged and early 20 yr old employees there but they were talking about what they did last weekend. It was like the hall of a high school.... More

My coworkers and I probably go here almost once a week. It's a good idea to go early probably just before the noon time rush so you can make sure you can get through the line in a relatively decent amount of time. I love the chicken tortilla soup, an outstanding well crafted soup with a great hearty flavor to... More

on my recent road trip to Yellowstone I stopped by café Rio but didn't expect much because it looks like a fast food restaurant. I could smell that the food should be tasty, but had no idea how tasty. when I seen the worker making hand-made tortillas I knew it should be great. I ordered the barbeque pulled pork taco.... More

Well, it was nowhere near close to our first choice but being that it was a bit later in the evening on the 4th of July most other places were closed. So we headed here. We have a Cafe Rio locally in Gilbert, Az and I LOVE LOVE them! So I was excited even if it wasn't our first choice.... More

This restaurant was overly crowded and the food is very unauthentic and commercialized. Irmitas is much better if you want authentic food and don't want to eat with the rest of the towns people.

If you haven't been here, I don't know what you are doing with your life. Get anything with pork. My personal favorite is a tostada, because I have a medium appetite.

Food was just the same as always... Just your average fast food Mexican restaurant.. We wanted to go to durangos for dinner but they closed at 9 so we went to cafe rio thinking it would be the same experience... Not at all!!!! Ever since they moved to this new location the cleanliness has plummeted! Like seriously if you're going... More

I absolutely love Cafe Rio. The food is always super good. I have never had a bad experience from the St George store (the Cedar City, UT one is a different story). The food is fresh and is put together right in front of you. Even when the line is long, it usually goes by pretty fast because the employees... More
