We try Mexican on almost all of our vacations because it's usually very consistent, but this time it failed. This was the first bad Mexican meal I've had. My chicken enchilada was greasy and cold. My wife had a bean and cheese burrito that came under a thick greasy layer of cheese and had some kind of meat mixed in.... More

The food we very similar, but not quite the same. Still very good for a good price. I'll go again the next time I'm in town. The decor is more modern and contemporary so it has a different vibe than the ones in SLC.

Love this place great chili Verde that you cant really find any place else. Loved the smothered burritos. La Fontera is all over utah. We taveled all over the southern part of the US and found ourselves looking forward to heading back to Utah for La Fonteras smothered burritos.

I'm quite surprised by many of the reviews here. I've eaten at just about every La Frontera location (just order the cheese enchilada on a flour tortilla with a side of papas well done at any location and thank me later), and the St. George one is by far the best. My son, who is kind of picky, but will... More

Started out with cold chips and colder salsa. It comes in a squeeze bottle right from the fridge. The chips have a funky taco seasoning on them. Yucky stuff. My tamales were poor quality with dry pork inside of them. The beans were a pile of watery mush but the rice was edible. My husband got the carnitas and they... More

We tried this place only because we had a coupon. The service was okay and the building was clean, but the food was nothing to rave about. We won't eat here again. It definitely is not the best Mexican restaurant in town.

The food and service were excellent. We went twice, once for lunch and once for dinner during our week in St. George area. All four of us ordered something different each time and were not disappointed.

We tried La Frontera for the first time last week. I brought my kids. Our food came out cold (cold fajitas?). I tried to get a waitress to rectify but they weren't helpful, didn't speak English. Our kids meal came with no sides, just a small burrito, no beans. I asked for a small side and they charged 5.00 for... More

It was clean and inviting. Friendly service. Prices were reasonable. Did not enjoy the liquidy katsup like salsa. The flautas were lacking in flavor.
