My wife and I had a late lunch here today. Since the day was cool, I started with their hot chocolate and it had a great flavor, was large and covered with whipped cream, and nice and hot. Great! Then I had their soup of the day, a carrot-jalapeno pepper thick soup which was just spicy enough for my taste... More

The most upscale place in town, really great menu options. Lunch is about $10, or splurge for dinner. Monday you can bring your own wine and the corkage fee is waived!

Great atmosphere, very good food at moderate prices and wonderful wait staff. My friend and I spent 2 hours for lunch and never felt rushed to end our conversation. Our waiter actually continued to serve us water even after we had finished and paid. What a delightful experience and change from the plethora of non-description chains in the city.

Even though it is hard to find, once you get there the atmosphere & the food is wonderful. You do need a reservation.

Food was bland. We had French Onion soup, Crab cakes & Coconut shrimp - No flavor, little or no seasoning. Wine was OK. Staff was very nice.

This restaurant is in a labyrinth of shops and businesses. It took a little bit of effort using our poor GPS (not their fault) but with their great signage, we found it. We were there for lunch, were promptly seated in a very nice window seat. I ordered the Spanish Dip Sandwich made with tenderloin beef, cotija cheese, with a... More

My husband and I splurged on a wonderful meal at the Painted Pony early Halloween evening. We called ahead to see if we needed a reservation, but before 5pm on a Friday night they had plenty of seating. I enjoyed the delicious (and not too salty) French Onion soup, served in a big hollowed-out onion nested on a bed of... More

I dined here with 7 other people, and the presentation of every meal was exquisite. I ordered a special vegan meal, and while it was not the best I've ever had, it was interesting and nicely presented. However the menu items are in many cases unique (onion soup served in the onion!) and all drop dead gorgeous. Beet stack with... More
