Everything was wonderful. Our server, who had been with the restaurant for over ten years, was great. The food and presentations were marvelous. I loved my bacon wrapped duck and my spouse liked his rib eye with the Stilton fritters and brussel sprouts. The portions were plentiful, but we had to make room for desert, and we're glad we did.... Table for four reserved by the company hosting my colleague and me for a business lunch. She (resides in Minnesota) and her colleague (resides in Montana) found the Painted Pony via TripAdvisor. My colleague and I live in Cedar City. Although I had heard much about the Painted Pony, this was my first visit. Three of us had the seared... More

We had the rib eye steak. The quality and taste of all the food was exquisite. The bread was baked earlier that day and was so good (dipped it in wonderful oil and vinegar). The steak had such a great flavor. The restaurant is in a rustic building with lots of charm. After dinner you can walk outside to see... More

Hadn't been here in a couple of years and they redeemed themselves after a bad experience a few years ago. The lunch was delicious, the server attentive, and it was well priced.

Lunch menu is ample and the food/service is superb. I recommend any of the luncheon sandwiches served with a side salad. Highly recommended .

This is the second time we dined here and again it did not disappoint. We had out of town guests and they loved the ambiance and the food. The four of us order everything from pasta to the ribeye and each entree was delicious with an amazing presentation. The service was incredible and we had two young men keeping our... More

We had dinner at the Painted Pony and found their food excellent and creative. The restaurant is located to the back of the historic town square and upstairs in the building. It is decorated with colorful modern art and the tables arranged so each feels quite intimate. The waitress was attentive and helpful. I had the chicken with mushroom sauce,... More

Set in a mall overlooking Ancestor Square, Painted Pony was a delight. I had a prosciutto wrapped chicken served on a bed of acorn squash pomegranate orzo and my wife had the mussels. We both loved our dinners. We were seated by the windows overlooking Ancestor Square. The restaurant was quiet and the service was excellent.

WOW!!! After looking at the menu, we decided to just order appetizers for our meal. There were SO many great choices, that we just thought "Let's do Tapas for dinner tonight!" I started by ordering the French onion soup special that was made in the actual sweet onion! What an awesome idea... and the soup was really more pungent in... More
