Well it was perfect, everything about our dinner was perfect. It was my wife's birthday and I wanted a special place to enjoy the day. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately, reservations are accepted. We were presented w warm freshly baked bread, it was delicious. Wife ordered a petite filet mignon prepared medium. It was perfectly prepared and melted... More

I never miss a lunch at the Painted Pony when staying in St. George. I find the menu reminiscent of my favorite restaurants in northern California. The service is always exceptional and the outdoor patio is one of the best: Always shady and comfortable, regardless of the weather.

Very good for a restaurant in a smaller city. The decor was interesting and the location was very nice in a historical part of the city. I loved the unique menu and highly recommend the onion soup and the potato-leek-bacon cake.

This is known to be the best restaurant in St George. In other cities, this would be a normal, good eatery, but unfortunately in St George most of the restaurants here are part of a chain (not that Chili's, Texas Roadhouse, and Olive Garden aren't just fine, but......). They have a full bar and a good wine list, and their... More

This place has set a new bar for my personal reviews of local restaurants in smaller cities. What a spectacular find. The excellent onion soup is presented in - wait for this - a nicely hollowed out real onion with perfectly melted cheese on top. At first I thought it was just a clever bowl - but no. My husband... This is a very nice, albeit hard to find, restaurant on the second floor of a small complex in downtown St. George. The menu, which I viewed online, looked impressive and the food was very good. I had some bacon-wrapped duck medallions that were very well prepared. My wife's steak came out very undercooked and they quickly fixed that issue.... More

My husband had the pear, ham and cheese panini sandwich that was the special of the day, this was the best "ham" sandwich ever. We also shared a cup of carrot and jalepeno soup and crab cakes. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend as a perfect stop when traveling.
