The Painted Pony combines first class service with a menu you'd expect to find in a New York bistro. We had the carrot jalapeño soup to start and the Seared Ahi entree. They were both outstanding. They have long been the best restaurant in southern Utah and are getting better every year.

The staff is professional and friendly. The dinner presentations are beautiful and the flavors are exquisite. The pricing is on the high side but well worth it for a special experience.

Had a great time with our adult family of four. Food was presented well and tasted great. Staff was fun and provided good service. Atmosphere out on the porch under a tree was enchanting.

Best tenderloin burger I've EVER had in my life here. For lunch, comes with salad or fries for $10 and I can't eat it all. Ample enough to split! Dinner is unique, exquisite presentation, fabulous flavors. I have never been disappointed in food or service here, and the ambience is lovely. No regrets here! Try the jalapeño carrot soup and... My wife and I had a late lunch here today. Since the day was cool, I started with their hot chocolate and it had a great flavor, was large and covered with whipped cream, and nice and hot. Great! Then I had their soup of the day, a carrot-jalapeno pepper thick soup which was just spicy enough for my taste... More

The most upscale place in town, really great menu options. Lunch is about $10, or splurge for dinner. Monday you can bring your own wine and the corkage fee is waived!

Great atmosphere, very good food at moderate prices and wonderful wait staff. My friend and I spent 2 hours for lunch and never felt rushed to end our conversation. Our waiter actually continued to serve us water even after we had finished and paid. What a delightful experience and change from the plethora of non-description chains in the city.

Even though it is hard to find, once you get there the atmosphere & the food is wonderful. You do need a reservation.
