The menu is interesting, some good choices, the food is excellent as is the service. They willingly change out sides. Try the onion soup, the presentation is worth it. Be sure and check out the art work on the walls. The cost is on the high end but the quality makes it worth while. The place is on the back... More

Delicious offerings in St. George in this "hidden" gem. Upstairs to the Painted Pony. Wonderful salad with shredded apples and then a juicy pork chop - too big to finish. Would have loved to try one of the interesting desserts but too full from the wonderful meal.

In the heart of St George there is a little gem. Painted Pony is really a nice place. Mostly for the excellent cuisine. The rack of lamb was perfectly cooked, the crab cakes beautifully tasty. The wine selection was very appealing, and the Cabernet of Washington State was superb. The atmosphere was very friendly and the service pretty accurate. If you... More

Not only did I have a great meal but was too full to have dessert when a light dessert was recommended. Ate the whole thing. One of the best lightest desserts.

I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. Never had a bad meal. Their meat loaf is my favorite. They use a lot of local fresh fruits and vegetables, which enhances the flavors. It is easier and cheaper to do lunch.

The waiter was very nice. They had a pretty good selection of food. They made sure that my water was always filled and that I was always happy and had everything I needed.

Well it was perfect, everything about our dinner was perfect. It was my wife's birthday and I wanted a special place to enjoy the day. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately, reservations are accepted. We were presented w warm freshly baked bread, it was delicious. Wife ordered a petite filet mignon prepared medium. It was perfectly prepared and melted... More

I never miss a lunch at the Painted Pony when staying in St. George. I find the menu reminiscent of my favorite restaurants in northern California. The service is always exceptional and the outdoor patio is one of the best: Always shady and comfortable, regardless of the weather.
