Our Innkeeper told us of the Painted Pony. We liked the name, looked at the menu and decided to go for dinner. It was surprise after good surprise. We had the heirloom tomato "tower" that was so elegant and tasty. The owner grows the tomatoes and the flavors are stunning. We had the coconut shrimp which wasn't nearly as exciting.... More

We recently celebrated my birthday at the Painted Pony while on a golf weekend to ST. George UT. I had a bone end pork french onion soup served in an onion, and a bone end pork chop that was the most tender piece of flame grilled pork I have had. The flavors were outstanding. My wife had an heirloom tomato... More

Great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. My husband had a rib eye steak and he thought it was delicious. I enjoyed a pork loin which was cooked perfectly and the sauce was wonderful. We will go back!

A friend suggested we should dine at the Painted Pony, so we gave it a try. The seating in the restaurant is split up, not too many tables in each area, so it is almost a private dining experience. We ordered the Heirloom Tomatoes Capreze Salad that was stunning in appearance and tasted as good as it looked. I had... More

My wife and I were looking for a good place to share while in St George and were not disappointed. This was a good place to enjoy as a get away from the kids. Tucked within a charming little shopping center, the ambiance was even better then our food. Not to say our food wasn't good, it surely was, the... More

We found the Painted Pony address thru Pinterest and the advise was great, we loved the onion soup, which is served in a real onion, super delicious on top of Sea Salt. The dishes are very large and delicious, great value and nice cozy atmosphere. Other recommendations : beet salad, dares wrapped in bacon and the mussels !

We wanted to find a special place to end our vacation in St. George and the Painted Pony did not disappoint! Excellent food, service and beautiful decor. We enjoyed a couple of appetizers, shared the amazing beet salad and each had fantastic entrees. I am in the wine industry in California and highly recommend their signature wine, The Painted Pony... The menu is interesting, some good choices, the food is excellent as is the service. They willingly change out sides. Try the onion soup, the presentation is worth it. Be sure and check out the art work on the walls. The cost is on the high end but the quality makes it worth while. The place is on the back... More
