I lived on the east coast for 10 years in CT near Wooster Square. This is the best Italian I've had in Utah. The proprietor is from Italy and served his Grandmother's Artichoke recipe and old fashioned cheesecake. Everything is made from scratch with his families recipes. Delicious. I heard he is moving locations.

I frequent Chef Alfredo's Piccolo Mondo at least once per month, so obviously I'm a fan. He informed me a couple months ago that he was moving his restaurant to 700 South next door to Harmon's grocery store. I've driven past recently, (and I admit I peeked in the windows). It's beautifully decorated, and it appears he'll be open for... More

Went by for dinner tonight and the door was locked and it appears to be closed as most of the equipment was removed. Earlier in the week the owner said something about going into the catering business. If this restaurant is your goal have a backup.

This little piece of Heaven is hidden in the back of a business complex type building. It could be very easy to miss. You owe it to yourself to seek it out if you enjoy Italian Cuisine! It's a very modest little place, clean as I have ever seen. You are immediately greeted by Alfredo Modica, Owner and Chef. Darling... More

The food is beyond compare. Authentic Italian, and every single flavor is exquisite. It demands slowing down and savoring, experiencing, the food. You'll never go to Olive Garden again!

Growing up on the east coast in an Italian family, it's hard to find good Italian food in a restaurant. So many Italian restaurants prepare food to appeal more to American tastes. So when I read that this was a real southern Italian restaurant, we had to check it out. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and rigatoni pecoraia (with extra... More

The restaurant is very clean and peoples friendly from the first one to the chef. The chef has come to our table to explain the special menu and we had a small exchange. The service was excellent. It is a quiet restaurant where you can bring your wine ( cork fee of $10 ). The prices are in accordance with... More

We just came from a great dinner at this restaurant in St. George, in a yearly trip from Ontario to the Senior Games. We had a delicious dinner of salmon, with a light, flavourful garlic cream sauce and vegetables, along with a caesar salad. Following that, we had the best Tiramisu we've ever had. The staff were great and the... More

We really wanted to try Italian and in St. George your options for any food is somewhat limited to begin with. It was warm this Sept. and while cold beer is listed on the menu they didn't have any. Do they ever? The wine is: red or white. The red is a chianti that tastes like grape juice. The pasta... More
