My boyfriend and I were on vacation out there and after eating he left and forgot his hat at black Bear Diner . I called the diner a few days later to see if someone found it and they had the hat for him . The owner was that awesome he put the hat in the mail to us after... More

Homey style food, like moms. Huge menu. Breakfast is by far the best meal. Great omelets, sausage, and yummy cornbread muffins and pancakes. Large portions so go hungry. My hubby likes the meatloaf for dinner (two portion sizes available) and I am partial to the pecan crusted trout. They offer homemade pies and cobblers. Never had the pie but the... More

This is a great place to eat. It's located near a couple of motels and just off the I-15. we chose this spot to get away from the usual chain restaurants. The service was excellent. The menu has a huge selection and the price is right. There is a decent children's menu and the restaurant bakes it's own pies and... More

We were passing through St. George and stopped at the Black Bear Diner. What a treat. A real upbeat restaurant playing fun music. I had the meat loaf which was very good. The portions were large. They offer smaller portions on the menu. A lot of diversity on the menu. The service was very friendly and good. Overall we thoroughly... More

We are huge fans of the Black Bear diner in West Jordan, we are not fans of the Black Bear diner in St. George. We did have a party of 12 so I do understand that it is harded to serve that many people but the service we received was horrible. My cousin had ordered a chicken salad that never... More

The amount of food for your money was definitely good; however, the food itself was only average. And, at least in our case, the wait time for our food was unreasonably long (which the waiter clearly knew, as we distinctly heard him tell the cooks they were "killing" him by taking so long with our food). Not a bad place... More

Bring a healthy appetite when you come! We were pleasantly surprised by our meal at Black Bear. We were staying at the Clarion and decided to just walk over for dinner. We were seated right away. The menus look like newspapers. Really unique. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. I ordered the Double Bacon Blast sandwich with their homemade... More

I love their food. It's always good comfort food, huge portions and reasonably priced. Great service from the staff. I love the California and Bacon Eggs Benedict and their 7 Grain Granola Nut Pancakes. They have a really good Pecan Crusted Trout and the Homemade Meatloaf and Slow Cooked Pot Roast are very good. We would highly recommend. During this... More

The portions served are gigantic. They have a ton of things to choose from. I tried the chicken caesar salad and it was gigantic. My husband enjoyed the taco salad which was a giant tostada filled to the rim. On another visit we had hamburgers which tasted really good. The chocolate shake was really good too. They have lots of... More
