Having eaten at a Black Bear Diner in Oregon, I was expecting something similar. But not to be. It's not that anything was bad. It's just that nothing was GOOD. Food arrived quickly but wasn't really hot. I ordered an open-faced turkey sandwich. It's real turkey which is great, and the gravy was good; the mashed potatoes were good but... More

My family enjoys breakfast foods so much that we don't mind having it for dinner, so we were happy to see it on the menu at Black Bear Diner. The portions were large but the food wasn't that great. I ordered an omelette which was basically a block of eggs with mushrooms and cheese on top. Usually omelettes have the... More

We ate here on way to the St George Heliport and the food was OK, almost all breakfasts are around $10. Lots of salt on their food. I would not return again.

We waited over 40 mins for our food which was cold and the eggs were made incorrectly. We then had to wait for them to make another. The food is not exceptional compared to other breakfast places so the wait was not worth it. They still charged us for the meal. Bad customer service.

We had a party of 8 that ate at the Black Bear in St. George while we were attending the Tuacahn amphitheatre. We had a reservation and were seated immediately when we arrived even though they were quite busy. Everyones food was delicious and the portions were large. Some couples even shared a meal. They have a good variety of... More

The portions are gigantic. The service is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. It's almost impossible to leave hungry. Try to leave room for dessert if you can. A great place for the whole family.

Have heard food here is very good and a local favorite. After dining here we discovered the food is very good and the locals know great food and value. We had breakfast and enjoyed a great omelet and eggs benedict. Both were top notch, having ample portions at very reasonable pricing. If I had three thumbs, they would all be... More

The food is excellent at this restaurant, down home cooking I call it. We enjoyed it very much. I ordered their Meatloaf dinner, it could have fed 2 people easily! My husband had their Salmon dinner, he was very happy with his choice. Their cornbread is so good... the only drawback, the portion was so large, I didn't have room... More

The food was very good. Our waitress very friendly and attentive. The portions were huge! There was 4 of us together and our entire order was out to our table very quickly.
