After 2 weeks of travel we were looking for a fresh meal. This did not disappoint! Sushi was very good and so were our main dishes. We opted for the dinning room. Only thing I wish was different was they served our dinner too quickly to enjoy our sushi.

I'm not a sushi expert, so take this with a grain of salt... Rolls were OK, but spicy tuna wasn't.... Serving size on nigiri sushi were large, but not particularly tasty. I'm still chuckling from the Japanese outfits worn by the local hostesses. The waitresses were NOT knowledgeable.

Let me tell you first that I am an avid Japanese sashimi/sushi lover. I've been to many Japanese restaurants near where I live NY/NJ area and beyond. This restaurant was one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to. Now, not everything can be good in a restaurant, but for Sushi/Sashimi this one is by far one of the... More

Sorry to say this was a very disappointing experience after reading a positive reviews elsewhere. We ordered fish cakes, tuna tataki, and miso soup and at the end of the meal quietly said it was possibly the worst Japanese food we have ever tasted. The fish cakes were bland and tasted as if they had been frozen. The tuna was... More

Great presentation, service and...yes, taste too! One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to! Great variety of rolls, and also they adapt to specific orders...

The food was decent but it the name is a little confusing. When we walked in, one half of the restaurant is Benihana style cooking while the other half was regular sushi meal. What I really liked about this place is that the portions were huge for the price. It was a little pricey.

I was greeted and sat right away. Had a great selection of sushi and I did sample a variety of three off the menu. All were fabulous, tasted fresh and it was hard to stop! The sushi prep and delivery to my table was a bit longer than I would expect, so if you bring kids they may get antsy,... More

While attending plays at the Tuacahn outdoor amphitheatre, 16 of us ate at Sakura. The staff was friendly and entertaining with the cook preparing our entrees at the table benihana style. The food was very good and the cook put on quite a show. They accommodated our large party quite well. If you are into this style of restaurant, I... More

This is a true Japanese Steak House experience. The chef was entertaining, the food was good and well-priced. A bottle of the house chardonnay was only $18.00

My husband and I went here for dinner and enjoyed it. I had the duck curry, which was awesome. My husband had the mango shrimp which he thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was excellent.
