First time we went was very good. Kind of a gimmicky approach with the "hot stone" to finish. Prices aren't over the top. Second time there steaks were way over the top with the salt seasoning. WAY TOO SALTY. Went there a third time when guests came in from California. Instructed the waiter to tell the chef to go easy... More

Before traveling, my husband and I seek out unusual or off-the-beaten-tracks type of places to eat; you know, the kind of places only the locals know about, and you don't have at home. This was certainly everything above - and more. The protiens (steaks, fish) are brought to your table on what are called hot rocks. These lava rocks are... More

In town on vacation and wanted to find a nice unique local place for a birthday dinner. The Anasazi was amazing. They are known for bringing your entree out searing on a 700 degree lava rock. You then slice off thinner pieces and cook them on the same stone. When each piece is done, you can eat it right off... More

This place is a cross between "Steak on a Stone" and "The Melting Pot". Way over priced for mediocre food. We were a party of 10 and they were very accommodating with the reservation. You can choose to cook your meal on the rock or have it grilled by the chef. Several of us just opted to have our steaks... More

This restaurant has a lot of coupons in magazines in St George. We took our coupon in for a free dessert and we were told they would not honor our coupon because it was the weekend. No where on the coupon did it state that. Our waiter was slow getting to us and then he was no where to be... More

The fondue and cooking your meat on a rock is a pretty cool activity for a group, but the food isn't really good enough to draw you back.

Man, I have such a hard time reviewing this place. The filet is some of the most tender and wonderful meat. The cooking method is, if nothing else, a fresh idea (though really, it's not that fresh considering any fondue restaurant, of which this is one, serves meats in a very similar way). The drinks I had were strong, but... More

The baseball steak is so delicious on the rock! I highly recommend it if you are a steak lover. Great dining and service! It can get a bit smoky at times due to people cooking on the rocks nothing too terrible but it is noticeable.

We arrived hungry. It was quiet ......mid week. Our server seemed constantly frazzled which was a shame as he was trying to be attentive. I hate cold hot food so cooking on the hot rock is appealing and my salmon was very nice when I cooked it myself. Our waiter did not write down our order ( why do waiters... More
