Stopped here for dessert. We were not disappointed. The custard was excellent. The concretes were not as thick as others I've had but they did a great job of mixing the ingredients throughout the cup. I would stop by again if I was in St. George.

I have been visiting this place since I was a little girl. It has the very best custard. I have tried another custard place in town but was completely disappointed. There is nothing like Nielsons. I always get the flavor of the day. Whatever it is you will have extremely happy taste buds!

Wow....this is a must stop if passing through St. George. Have never experienced frozen custard before but this place sold me from the moment I walked in. Went with the raspberry and can honestly say it was one of the best ice cream like treats I've had in many years. Still don't know what is in it but I know... More

I think this is the best of all the frozen custand places...it's creamy with just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. One of their most popular menu itmes is the "concrete", a serving of custard that has a mix-in of your choice (cookies, candies, fruits).

Went here after a mean round of mini golf with the wife and friends. I got the cherry coke float. It was good but nothing out of this world. All in all seemed somewhat pricey for desserts. Three items cost $16. Also, very busy with high school aged kids (not saying that's bad but it was kinda noisy).

I was really impressed with both the chocolate and vanilla custard. Great flavor! Great consistency. I would defiantly come back. Serving was a tad small, but enough.

According to their menu, Men's Health or some magazine ranked their custard the #1 food in America. Now, t's good; the chocolate malt almond is really good. But best in America, I'm not convinced. Also melted really quickly and it wasn't that hot out. Atmosphere is nothing to speak of either. Clearly kept the original 60's era white tile diner... More

This is a great place to stop by and get custard. But honestly, if you wanted to get ice cream, I would recommend going to Coldstone. It is about five minutes for Nielsen's, and the ice cream at Coldstone is unbeatable! But, Nielsen's is pretty good.

Not sure if I would have made a special trip to go here, but if you are passing by, stop on by. There isn't such seating, so plan on taking it with you or eating outside. I got a sundae and I felt that I paid way too much for as small of cup as it was in, but the... More
