They dont take credit cards

The custard is delicious, but they don't accept credit cards. Seriously its 2015, they need to get with the times. We don't carry much cash so this was very inconvenient for us.

My wife and I took a few minutes break from our drive on I-15 to get a refreshing custard at Nielson's. Well worth the detour. Amazing, freshly made custard which is much creamier than ice cream. Fast, friendly service. Wasn't much of a wait, and definitely worth it.

We tried the Oreo custard and it did not disappoint! Be prepared for a long line and cash/checks only!

The hot spot in St George- especially if you like custard! Lots of people but the line goes pretty fast. The hot fudge sundae was incredible! Kids had the concretes- huge servings- great prices.

Creamy and delicious custard. The wait in line was swift with two registers rolling through a packed shop. Outside people are enjoying their cones, concretes and hanging out. I'll ignore the snafu and extremely long wait for our order... I don't think that's typical. Yummy!

I've been coming here for years, because it's hard to find any other place that has ice cream that is so rich and creamy! Me and my other half shared the orea concrete custard because it was pretty big, and neither of us could have eaten it alone. This was my boyfriends first time in, and he really enjoyed it.... More

For one thing, they don't take money from cards! So, have cash or an in-state checkbook ready. The custard itself is great, but wow if it wasn't inconvenient to pay for. I got a brownies+caramel concrete mixer. The caramel was fine, the brownies were so gross. It was their smallest size and way too much for me, I didn't finish... More

It's hard to find a better custard place in the world. Make sure you bring cash! They have different flavors daily but I like the old school vanilla.

We always make it a point to stop in for custard at Nielsen's when in St. George. They have sandwiches but we've never tried them - it's custard only for us! We prefer to go there when it's warmer outside so we can take our custard out instead of being inside. It's very noisy when they run the custard machine,... More
