Very good food, very reasonable price

My family raves over the pork anything here, but I'm more of a chile roast beef guy. The tortilla soup is also a favorite, especially when you are hungry but not famished. I often eat the soup as a stand alone meal. My three year-old grand-daughter sums it up "Cafe Rio? I love Cafe Rio!"

Love, love, love their food. I love the flavor of the homemade tortillas, rice and chicken. My husband loves the flan dessert. Quick, cheerful service and plenty to eat. Way better than the other fast food joints that serve Mexican. I wish they had more drive-thru locations, though. That's probably the only downside since it can get very busy at... More

This place has fast food figured out. The food is fast and furious, but it is also delicious. I felt like eating everything on the menu in under 20 minutes. But the thought of being back in Overeaters Anonymous staring at those pudgy, haunted faces made me stick to just a couple of entrees. This food tempts you to distraction.... More

My family absolutely craves Cafe Rio. Anytime we go to Utah, it's usually the first place we go for dinner. I have to admit that I'm not as huge a fan as they are. I like the sweet pork salad and burritos, but a part of me doesn't think pork should be sweet. That being said, I really do like... More

This was my first time at Cafe Río and it was great! I had an enchilada-style pork barbacoa burrito and it was huge. It was absolutely delicious, but maybe not the best idea to eat it all in one sitting!

We used to live in UT so we were anxious to return to what we remembered as a great location for fresh Mex food. The food was great but the restaurant was woefully neglected by the young persons in the store. No towels in the restroom, ice machine not working properly for the beverages, and trash overflowing at the exits.... More

Ate here 3 times in my 4 day stay. I'm craving a pork burrito. The tortillas are heavenly and the horchatta was tasty too. Can't wait to go back.

I've eaten here dozens of times over the years, and whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to stop at Cafe Rio because I love the cilantro lime vinaigrette. I order the salad every single time, and again, I was not disappointed. My husband loves the burrito, enchilada style. Sometimes there is a long line, sometimes there is... More
