Pretty good

Our service was poor. We were left waiting at the door with no one speaking to us. There were plenty of empty tables. Finally seated service slow. Food was unusual and very good. It is a bit pricey but we won't be going back

We were staying in Park City and ity was suggested we drive to Provo Utah as it was a scenic drive and a nice view of Bridal Veil Falls. We did the drive and enjoyed the views. We decided to eat in Provo so we checked out Trip Advisor. The Black Sheep Cafe was top rated to we stopped to... More

At first bite I almost cried, the Green Chile in the Chimichanga relleno's, reminded me of my grandma's. I had to hold back the sweeping of emotions. What an amazing meal. All ingredients were fresh. In every bite there was a blissful burst of flavors. This brought me back to being in the kitchen with my grandma, who I miss... More

My menu favorites are the Green Chile Pork Navajo Taco and Hog Jowl Tacos w/jicama slaw -- divine! Add a pitcher of Cactus Pear Lemonade to share . Native American chef comes up with rotating specialties that are always worth trying. Something different and truly delicious.

I loved the hog jowl tacos. I had never had anything like them before and I was thoroughly impressed. The lemonade was also super yummy.

During a recent business trip to Provo, Utah, I found the Black Sheep Cafe around the corner from my hotel. My business associate and I arrived before 6:00 p.m. and the hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us immediately (as there was only one other table of guests). After surveying the menu, I asked the server what she... More

Waited twice as long then told with tables open. Small menu, few choices. Only vegan or vegeterian options are appetizers and the meals aren't as good modified although they try.

The Black Sheep is an awesome find in Provo. The fry bread is fantastic, along with the Navajo tacos. My favorite is the pork green chili. Rich and tasty with the perfect balance of savory, rich, salty, meaty and wonderful. Everything I've eaten here has been excellent. Service can be slow, so get here early if you can.

Who would have guessed our best meal for a 5 day road trip in Utah would be in Provo? Even all the tourists in Moab don't seem to attract this level of casual sophistication in food creation, and at very reasonable prices. It's #1 on the restaurant listings for Provo for good reason. It's in a block full of restaurants and... More
