Small son and mother place with incredible food. Looks good, tastes incredible. The green chili frites were so good we are determined to try to make them at home. Only because we live so far away, or we would just go on back and order a double portion.

Hungry on our drive to Park City we took a detour into Provo and found The Black Sheep Cafe. It is a Native American restaurant and everything is prepared fresh. The menu includes new twists on old favorites like burgers and tacos but unlike any burgers or tacos you have ever eaten. My husband and I both had the pork... More

So we land in SLC... And are traveling south on 15. It's my birthday. The idea of having another pretentious meal in a land locked, not known for its cuisine, state is scary... So we start looking for cuisines that make sense. Bingo. Black Sheep. Navajo inspired food. Of course! The shrimp and blue corn grits, the grass fed beef,... More

We were in 15 different cities on a road trip across the Northern United States. No food in any other restaurant came close in taste and value. The wait staff was informed, friendly and eager to please. With the help they got from the chef, they couldn't help but succeed From appetizer to dessert the food was unique and delicious.

Unique menu of ,Native American food prepared by Native chef. Wonderful! The PorkGreen Chile Taco ($11) served on a luncheon plate sized Navajo fry bread is sublime, loaded with pork and with just the right amount of spice and heat. Orange habanero creme brûlée is silky and full of flavor with a crisp., browned crust. Delicious! Everything is a la... More

The cactus pear lemonade, served from a unique bottle, is homemade and outstanding. The Navajo fry bread was to die for. Bison burger is amazing. The hog-jowel taco was not exactly a taco, but delicious. The jicama salad was yummy. We compared this unique downtown restaurants to all others on a trip of 5 States. Lucky Provo!

Definitely the best food we had during our recent trip to Provo. My wife and I went for dinner around 8pm on a Saturday, and although the restaurant was busy, we were seated within 15 minutes. The shrimp and grits appetizer was the highlight of the meal, but all of the food was thoughtfully prepared and well flavored. The service... More

Too much hype behind this restaurant. The food is decent, but the tacos are really not that great and totally runny. Not worth the price at all.
