AMAZING, simply amazing!

During a recent business trip to Provo, Utah, I found the Black Sheep Cafe around the corner from my hotel. My business associate and I arrived before 6:00 p.m. and the hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us immediately (as there was only one other table of guests). Waited twice as long then told with tables open. Small menu, few choices. Only vegan or vegeterian options are appetizers and the meals aren't as good modified although they try.

The Black Sheep is an awesome find in Provo. The fry bread is fantastic, along with the Navajo tacos. My favorite is the pork green chili. Rich and tasty with the perfect balance of savory, rich, salty, meaty and wonderful. Everything I've eaten here has been excellent. Service can be slow, so get here early if you can.

Who would have guessed our best meal for a 5 day road trip in Utah would be in Provo? Even all the tourists in Moab don't seem to attract this level of casual sophistication in food creation, and at very reasonable prices. It's #1 on the restaurant listings for Provo for good reason. It's in a block full of restaurants and... More

The food is some of the best around. My wife had the pasta which she said was delicious. I had the buffalo nickel burger and my daughter had the Hog Jowl Tacos. The food was sooo good. The presentation is beautiful. Some of the best around. The ambiance is fun. The prices are a little high for everyday eating but... More

Ate here last night with some friends. We got there at 7 and got seated around 8:20 or so. I ordered a Margarita and it was very smooth and delicious and I ate the chimichanga. The posole is Excellent too. My boyfriend had the hog howl tacos which were great too. I would eat here again but order takeout due... More

We love Black Sheep Cafe and continue to go back whenever we travel through. It has a modern, artsy vibe. Dimly lit, great for conversation. Make sure to get a reservation, especially on the weekends as it gets filled up quickly. The food is so good and filling! Navajo tacos are delicious; my husband's Navajo side of the family really... Their blue cheese and bacon burger is superb. The atmosphere is is nice and it is in a fun location. Parking can be a bit tricky but is doable. The Cactus Pear Drink is really good along with their Sweet Potato Fries and Corn Cob.

Look, Hog Jowls do NOT sound good. The Hog Jowls Tacos, were amazing!!! The Cactus Lemonade was perfect, and the Fries were OK too. My Fire Shrimp was OK, not great but pretty darn good. Only thing that was not great, the Diet Pepsi was flat. Unusual for such a high end place. The Fries were quite nice,
