Pleasant surprise

A local suggested DP's if we liked sandwiches. I was pleasantly surprised that I really liked it. I knew my husband would since he likes sandwiches with onions, etc. The beef was very tender and a great blend with the provolone cheese I had on mine. My wife and I are regulars here! DP has the best Philly Cheesesteaks, period; and I have eaten them in Philly! The other big draw to DP is the Birch Beer. It is so good that rootbeer drinkers will never go back and cola drinkers will swear off caffeine! I love the Mushroom Cheesesteak with provolone, my wife love the... More

This is one of our favorite places to go before the BYU football games. I wish that the sound of the radio broadcast inside the restaurant was better. The sandwiches are good. My two boys, my grandson and I each have our favorite.

I've never been to Philly so I can't compare the cheesesteaks but these were pretty fabulous with lots of topping options (including chicken instead of the traditional beef).

If you love real bleu cheese and a killer cheesesteak, theirs will satisfy your taste buds. The rolls could be improved on, but you'll be too focused on the mouthwatering meat and cheese to take notice.

I thought this place was pretty good. It's pretty fast and the cheesesteak I ordered with provolone, onions, and hot cherry peppers was delicious. My only complaint is that the bread was cold and a little dry. I've definitely had better cheesesteaks but this is the best I've had in Provo and a pretty good value.

DP Cheesesteaks is one of my favorite places for lunch. The prices are great for the quality and size of the food. My favorite part is the jalapeño sauce added to any of the steak sandwiches. I highly recommend.

This was SO good! And the variety of steak sandwich combinations was great. I loved the blue cheese and cherry tomato variations. Definitely try the Birch Beer (think rootbeer) either in a bottle or on tap, nice variation on old favorite. Regular size is plenty big for most apetites. We split large and it was plenty!

We walk to this restaurant from our hotel. The service was great! Each person in our party found a cheesesteak to match his/her personality! The birch beer was awesome and the sandwiches were super close to Subs I had in Pennsylvania! Great place!

DP is not the best place for cheese steak. The prices are way too high for smaller portions. Expect paying about $8 for a smaller portion. If you want a better steak and cheese, go to Italian Place around the corner.
