This is a very good restaurant especially compared to other options in the general Provo area. It is located in the Riverwoods shopping center. We have eaten in nearby Tucanos [ a favorite when our sons were in college] often but decided to try this. The salmon was wonderfully moist and the rice accompaniment with sauce we perfect. Beef medallions... More

La Jolla groves is one of the nicer restaurants in Provo. The food is freshly made and it's really good. My wife and I have been here several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. We went here on a double date the other night and the food was great. I had the Salmon and it was delicious. We ordered their... More

4 of us ordered different entrees and all were happy. The rolls were yummy. The pasta was homemade with abundant tenderloin and the ahi salad was tasty. All came with lovely presentation and good, attentive service. Unlike a former review, my tuna was very rare which is what I requested. Perhaps he got their attention. We would all return when... I went here for a work lunch. The food was good (I had the salmon salad) and the service was fine. But nothing was really outstanding. And the prices would lead you to expect outstanding. Not a bad place to go if you're not on a budget and you want something classy. Otherwise, you might be better off elsewhere.

We called to check and they suggested we set reservations however when we got there the restaurant was not busy at all. The décor is a bit odd. We had the rare ahi tuna starter which wasn't rare by any means but it was good. We also had the Mushroom Soup and it was so so. The Baby Iceberg &... More

Great for that special occasion meal. Good atmosphere inside, definitely delicious food. My wife is an avid supporter of the potato leek soup and for good reason, it is simply amazing. Just order a huge bowl of that. Steak is delicious. Lemonades are also spot on.

I stopped by this restaurant as a solo diner on a Thursday evening. It was recommended to me by the hotel staff where I was staying. The restaurant was not busy and there was a abundance of staff available. The decor is average. I'm not damning it by faint praise it's just that the decor to me is a bit... More

I love La Jolla Groves! Not just their food, but their employees, chefs, and management all really care that their diners have a great experience. I have tried A LOT of their menu items, and I can't say there is anything that I haven't liked yet. My favorite dish is the Salmon Fillet. Being from the Northwest, I grew up... More

We went there for our wedding anniversary and were disapointed by the lack of originality in the dishes offered. All dishes contained cream and heavy. The highlight of our meal? The side of squash with our chicken marsala and the little croquant vegetables in the cilantro crusted salmon. We won't be back unless we get a free meal.
