At Station 22, we dig way down deep into our American roots to bring you fresh, reinvented versions of family recipes, classic dishes and some new flavors you never imagined. We love the concept and flavors of "vernacular cuisine"- foods that are rooted in specific regions and family traditions. Who doesn't? These are the flavors of Grandma's house, potlucks, family gatherings and small, family-run restaurants. We love to eat foods that we connect with-foods that hearken back to warm times with family and friends. Times beyond us, that extend all the way back through our grandparents and beyond, from our now tiny branches down into our deepest roots.

Good place

This is a really fun place to grab some good food in downtown Provo. I recommend getting the poutine and chicken and waffles. Also the soda wall is always fun. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Provo.

Nicely decorated large open space. Went on a work trip. We tried a number of the dishes. The hummus appetizer was interesting and set the stage for a meal with flavors we couldn't quite identify, some worked, some didn't so much. Deviled eggs for instance are pickled and a deep pinkish red. Texture was very dense with a great mustardy... More

Just a few days ago I was doing a Job in the area and stop for lunch. It was a few months that I wasn't in. At this time I saw that they had a plate with Waffle & chicken, which I tried. It is absolutely Delicious. I can't find other words to explain the nice flavors that I had... More

So yummy we keep driving down from Salt Lake. Fried chicken is delicious. Tomato soup tastes like a summer tomato. And who can resist the wall of root beers, ginger ales and imported specialty drinks. Delicious!!

Delicious, but not over priced food. Great decor that is a feast for the eyes. If I had one criticism would be our waiter was far more engaged with a table of young women than my group, but I could understand that. We all really like the food.

Hamburgers fried on a flat top. With Fries. Dessert is fried dough covered in powdered sugar. There is nothing either healthy or good for you on this menu. We'd heard it was good but the overwhelming smell of frying oil is off-putting as are the oversized and greasy menu items. No thank you.

Cool décor, had player piano reels as light shades as well as on the walls. Really adds to the place. We had hushpuppies for a starter that everyone else really enjoyed (I'm not a fan so didn't eat any). The wall of root beers was something to behold. We had their home made 22 brew root beer. It's okay but... More

I'm from Tennessee and was visiting Provo for an interview so I was only able to be in town a few days. I heard from several locals about Station 22 and after seeing Mac and Cheese on the menu decided I wanted to try it. The decor of the restaurant is great! I really like antiques and it had an... The food here is good. Nothing to rave about or crave coming back to. After eating in the south, it's nothing compared to that, but for southern food in Provo, UT it's ok. I've been here twice now. First time I got the mac & cheese and it was not good. I don't recommend it. On my recent trip I... More

Ate with a large group in a very noisy back room. Had a lot of fun, and most everyone loved their food including the chicken and waffles. The waiter messed up my order twice so that wasn't fun, but he was very nice about it. Very high calorie food. Hard to find anything low cal and healthy, but that's not... More
