Incredible food!

The concierge at Sundance recommended Communal for dinner. Each dish is meant to be shared by two people. My husband and I had a little trouble deciding because we don't necessarily have the same taste in food. We both compromised a little and tried everything in each dish we ordered - it was... read more

Don't think you're going to have a quiet little conversation over some very good food. You're going to have eurobeat or some other music on too loud and when the place fills up you're going to have other table noise. But if you like food, this is the place to go in Provo. Unique menu. We had the salmon which... More

We came into town for a few days of skiing and looked on TA for the best food. We wound up at Communal and had such a great meal we came back for NYE dinner with some family. Both nights the food was excellent, service was very attentive and the owner came by the table and chatted. Very nice. Treat... More

We had a delicious meal here. The only trouble was trying to decide what to order. I would go back every week to try something new if I could! The restaurant is lovely and staff very friendly, too.

First time visiting the restaurant. I loved the long table. We sat with three other parties. Water served from cut glass bottles. I ordered the Charcuterie appetizer, it came after my lunch but worth the wait. For my main I got the Caesar Salad with Chicken and sampled the Salmon on another. Both of the salads are worth returning for.

Extremely appealing, tasty and varied menu, great service and setting. Food is perfectly prepared, service is warm and wonderful, decor feels light, modern and somehow still earthy. We live where the salmon run and felt silly for ordering fish 1000 miles inland, but it was served *exquisitely* moist and garnished with some miraculous almond purée. My Grandma would be proud... I went with a group of people (~14) on a business dinner and we dined in their sole private dinning area. Note: This is a small restaurant. The unique concept behind Communal, as they present it, is the food should be ordered all together, served in the middle and everyone eats a little of everything. So, our group did just... More

I live nearby this restaurant and look forward to going here every chance I get! I love that they use as many local ingredients for their dishes too. If you are in town, stop in and visit. This is a family style restaurant. I also like that their menu is very eclectic as well. You won't be disappointed.

Went to Communal on a whim after wanting to visit my entire life. It is a little pricey, but it was not as bad as I had imagined. I would recommend the communal table for your first visit. No other restaurant like it in the area!
