Amazing food and great staff!!!

Amazing! So many great flavors in the sushi and new dishes to try such as the Japanese Hot Rock! We sat at the bar and the chefs were very engaging and friendly! My husband is not a big sushi fan and he too raved about it!

So this is a hard review to write - but consistent my three visits. I think their food is awesome. Great quality, very nice presentation and good portion size. The wait staff just is lacking. It takes forever to get drinks. On our most recent trip a beer was delivered, it took 10 additional minutes for the mixed drinks to... More

This is a "fair" restaurant. Service is okay. They don't use sushi rice to make sushi. The place is to noisy and the sushi under the average.

We didn't have reservations so had to wait about 30min to be seated. The food was great. Nigiri tasted very fresh. The hot hazelnut Sake was great.

The food and service here are amazing, I have been here many times. I went to their website to order take-out and I went to their website, called the delivery service and the restaurant's website was outdated, the delivery company had their website updated. This day and age, the online experience is everything. The restaurant didn't bother calling to tell... More

We started with the Samurai Scallops (I think the description on the menu does not describe the deliciousness of this dish: three crispy wonton chips, topped with spicy tune, pan-seared scallops, sweet and spicy miso butter, avocado, tobacco & sprouts. It is a MUST). Continued with Dim Sum (chef's nightly creation: Shrimp and Beef) a twist from the previous one... More

We ate at the bar since we didn't have reservations. I had several sushi rolls and my wife had the ramen noodle soup. Food was delivered quikly and was hobos.

This is our family's second year skiing at Deer Valley. Last year we ate at Shabu. We had a great experience! Greg was our Waiter, an he was wonderful. I did not write a review then because I was busy. My family ate there again this evening. Shabu seemed busier! We did not have reservation. But, the Hostess, Ms. CoCo... More

We had a reservation at 6 and were seated right away. The place was already pretty packed as its a Spring Break week. The Wagu beef was the best- the highlight of the meal and unfortunately It was the first so everything else was lackluster. The Coco Lobo roll, new in the menu was not worth $19. It was bland,... Even though our group was too tired for a dinner out, Shabu sushi restaurant delivered in multiple ways. The local food delivery service brought us delicious sushi 1 hour after we ordered. It still tasted fresh and the flavors were what we would expect of a really good sushi restaurant, with excellent rolls like Rainbow and Caterpillar. We didn't order... More
