Food Good - Service Terrible

Great late afternoon retreat for a cold beer or glass of wine before you head down the mountain for the day. Definitely a unique little spot that you will not find on most mountains.

This is really a fun thing to do. Besides the slide ride to the place, the food was good. The drinks were also OK. Music was great! The service was outstanding. Great for couples, large groups, and families. Price was fair for what you recieved.

For us spending the NZ$ in the US this was a big extravagance and one I considered long and hard before booking. So glad I did! The ride up the slopes was brilliant - lovely starry night and incredible views of Park City below. The Yurt dining experience only takes 40 people per night and with 5 tables of 8... More

Loved it! Climb into the sleigh that's pulled up the mountain by a snowcat. Huddle under blankets for the 20 minute trek. Be greeted by a mug of warm glock as you enter the warmer-than-expected yurt. Great Norwegian old-school food. Lots of charm. Great place to take friends, or have a celebration. Watched an engagement while there!

After a 20 minute sleigh ride up the snowy hill and under a starry sky, you reach a scene right out of the movie Frozen: a Viking yurt, complete with pewter dishes, horned helmets for the birthday diners, and a grand piano with lovely dinner music. Dinner was delicious, from winter white parsnip soup to lemon tarragon sorbet cleansers to... More

The sleigh ride up and down the mountain was breathtaking. Even though they provide blankets, we had taken some from our hotel also. Glad we did. We put them on the seat, spreading it out & sharing with others. It made for a more comfortable, warm ride. The cuisine was extraordinary. We celebrated our son's birthday & his desert came... More

We stopped there on a daily basis for lunch or mid-day break. Great food mid-mountain, off of the Crescent Lift. Super friendly hostess. Tables inside, but great outside seating to enjoy a fantastic Grilled Cheese or Grilled Chicken sandwich. Cookies of course. And a nice selection of Wine/Beer/Spirits/Soda/Water. Super location and nice spot to kick back and rest to recharge... More

My partner and I had booked this dinner experience many months ago following tips and reviews and we were not disapointed at all. From the ski sledge ride up to the top of the mountain to our return and evening conclusion four hours later we were well satisfied. It was nice meeting so many guests just like us enjoying each... On our 5th visit we finally planed far enough out to book the viking yurt dinner. Snow Cat ride at night up to a cool viking yurt on top of the mountain for Grog and a gourmet viking meal. It was a great experience not to be missed. We had teens with us...and it's a 3 hour+ experience so would... More
