I know they offer a 5 course dinner in the evenings with a ride up to the top but we always enjoy stopping in for a nice lunch on the slopes when skiing PCMR. This last time it was sunny and warm so we enjoyed the dining experience on the outdoor deck overlooking the slopes. Not a big menu but... More

Took our entire family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The ride up to the Yurt and back were the highlight of our visit. Everyone was very friendly however service was slow at times. Not a place I would recommend for young teenagers. The piano player was terrific but make sure you're not next to him because you won't be... More

I'm actually glad for this review! It is important that if something it not to the guest liking that they speak up and tell a server as I'm sure the server would have asked the pianist to play softer. The level of music desired varies so much from guest to guest as some people like it more rowdy than others.... More

My expectations were not very high for the food or the experience, but the food was actually very good and it was a very enjoyable evening. Excellent tasting food in a 5 course meal, starting with a great soup, smoked salmon salad, I then had the salmon, followed by an excellent chic of cheese and then a verst tasty sweet.... More

We recently took a trip to Park City and were lucky enough to enjoy an evening with good friends at the Viking Yurt. You can unwind with the sleigh ride up a mountain trail and enjoy the scenery, and then be welcomed by friendly staff at the warm and festive yurt. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and ensured... More

This visit should have been wonderful - very sorry to say that it wasn't. The food was good and would have been a lot better if all the meals came out at about the same time. Some people were finished while others continued to wait. The menu is very limited, so that should make it easier on the small kitchen,... More

Great late afternoon retreat for a cold beer or glass of wine before you head down the mountain for the day. Definitely a unique little spot that you will not find on most mountains.

This is really a fun thing to do. Besides the slide ride to the place, the food was good. The drinks were also OK. Music was great! The service was outstanding. Great for couples, large groups, and families. Price was fair for what you recieved.

For us spending the NZ$ in the US this was a big extravagance and one I considered long and hard before booking. So glad I did! The ride up the slopes was brilliant - lovely starry night and incredible views of Park City below. The Yurt dining experience only takes 40 people per night and with 5 tables of 8... More

Loved it! Climb into the sleigh that's pulled up the mountain by a snowcat. Huddle under blankets for the 20 minute trek. Be greeted by a mug of warm glock as you enter the warmer-than-expected yurt. Great Norwegian old-school food. Lots of charm. Great place to take friends, or have a celebration. Watched an engagement while there!
