After talking with a couple of locals who recommended this place, my wife and I tried it in August, '09. What a surprise! Why it's not overly busy is beyond either of us. Food was tasteful and plentiful. While the menu isn't one of those that goes on and on, what they do offer is good value and they don't... More

After reading the reviews on this site and after positive feedback from the staff at our B&B we thought this place would be great. While the actual taste of all the food was pretty good, the preparation and presentation were both sloppy. The 'Housemade Potato Chips' were so congealed they needed to be eaten with a fork and knife, the... More

My husband and I were in town today to look for a new restaurant. Unfortunately it was raining, fortunate for us, however. We were the first luncheon diners at Purple Sage. I believe they're just starting a lunch trade and were offering a deal. Believing that if a restaurant can make a great lunch burger or succelent roast chicken for... More

My wife and I very much enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and delicious flavors of the Purple Sage for our 8th Wedding Anniversary dinner this week. We started of with a nicely mixed martini (bit small, but it is Utah after all) and moved along to a uniquely red rubbed scallop appetizer which was perfectly cooked. I had the yummy cornmeal... We had dinner here after a long day of skiing. We started off with the home made potato chips which were delicious. I had the Elk chili which was wonderfully spicy with hints of nutmeg and some cinnamon. The rest of the meal was excellent as well including a Seared Crispy Organic Chicken which was as stated, very crispy with... More

Cozy and unpretentious with truly great food. Beet salad, grilled veal meatloaf, steak "Chef Style" and bread pudding all winners. (Skip the chocolate bundt cake.) Can't wait to go back.

Dined at the Purple Sage on an uncrowded Wednesday night. We really liked the decor and booths with privacy screen. Standouts for the meal were the apple salad, butternut squash ravioli, and grilled lime shrimp. Everything was good but the dessert menu was not as ambitious as the rest of the menu. Prices were reasonable for a nice restaurant -... More

We were lucky to get a table here on the Tuesday night of Sundance Film Festival week...and I'm glad we did! The food was outstanding and the waitstaff was entertaining. Definitely go for the Elk, Duck or Squash Raviolis which were three of our favorities. The chili appetizer was incredible and there were reasonable choices on the wine list. Finish... More

This was our favourite restaurant on Main Street in Park City. We wanted to go there having read reviews and we were very pleased with it. It's small and intimate (but the tables aren't squashed together). Most of the clientele were romantic couples on the night we were there but out family of four including two older teenagers didn't feel... More
