As a Park City regular, I've avoided heading up to the Deer Valley area for dinner. MISTAKE. Took the wife here for dinner and we could not have been happier. Schnitzel, Black Cod and chicken were cooked to perfection. Cheese fondue dish was literally licked dry. Service impeccable without being overbearing. Staff paced the meal well, no rush to turn... Food and service was fine, but dress code is sad! I don't want to be dressed up in a jacket and tie and sit around people in undershirts and bluejeans. Don't have anything agains the outfits but this place is too nice to allow this. Likewise, get the children under control, don't let them run wild. They caused the mens... More

We went there on our last night. Worth it to get a flavor of what a ski resort should be like... rustic, charming, polished.. Worth the money for that one, special night. Food was very good.

After three dinners here, Goldener Hirsch has become our go-to for fine dining. The space is charming, feeling like many alpine inns we have visited in Europe. The service is friendly and attentive, without being fussy. Most important, the food is excellent. It's expensive, like almost every fine restaurant in this resort area, but unlike most, the kitchen never disappoints.... More

Went with my family for dinner and everything was delicious. From the salads in the beginning to the fondue for desert, everything was absolutely delicious.

It's not possible to experience better, genuine Old World charm anywhere else State-side. A true Austrian hotel. Great, personable staff. Wonderful, creative menu in the warm, cozy restaurant. The pastry chef especially created the most delicious gluten-free pastries for us for breakfast! Amy was so pleasant and helpful as was the very personable Manager, Doug. We will return.

On our last night in Park City, we used a 2 for one entree coupon from the Park Record. The Goldener Hirsch is decorated in Austrian Alp style with carved wood chairs and tables. The staff was very welcoming and the service excellent except for one issue. There was also a prix fixe menu. Since I don't eat meat, I... More

Ventured here with family and some friends during a recent out-of-town getaway. Whatever reason you come here, lunch or dinner, no matter how many or how few people, the fondue is a must. Plan the rest of your meal around it. I had the schnitzel after and was very, very pleased. The desserts are quite wonderful as well, although based... More

We arrived without a reservation the restaurant was completely full. They offered us the cozy area right in the lobby. We were pleasantly surprised when they set the coffee table with tablecloths. The service was excellent and the fondue is a must appetizer. There were a total of 4 in our party and everyone seemed to enjoy the food prepared... More

We went for lunch. This is a very cute restaurant in the resort village. The service was impeccable. The food was very good. Late lunch was not too crowded. There seemed to be many regulars dining. Lunch prices were moderate. There is also a nice gift shop. The menu had many of the dishes you would expect to find in... More
