Not a small plate fan

This is a fine restaurant ,but i am not a fan of the small plate concept. they recommend 4-5 plates and they are all expensive. Gnocchi (about 10) $16.00. Romaine lettuce salad $12.00 etc... The tastes and the service were very good, but this is not my style

Be sure to do the wine pairing with your meal. They do a beautiful job of pairing and nice portions of wine! This is a very romantic restaurant and the setting of Deer Valley makes it even more special.

The Deer Valley company has many different restaurant options on the mountain, but the best of all is Mariposa restaurant. This restaurant serves food to travel the best in America's greatest cities. The kitchen is filled with remarkable talent and every course is uniquely conceived and prepared and served on the plate in a most elegant manner. The flavors are... More

Our family of four dined here during (the VERY BUSY) Christmas week (2015). You can view their menu on line and see their entree proteins, side dishes, etc. to see if it in your "wheelhouse" re: food items and price. That said, the food and service were wonderful. I could not find a single flaw in any aspect of this... More

A bit hard to find, but well worth it. Treated like a queen the minute I walked in, the host was very kind and sweet. My friends were about 20 minutes late due to getting lost and he was incredibly gracious, offering me a wonderful glass of wine with a seat by the fireplace. He even offered directions for them to... More

Wonderful gourmet restaurant which features fantastic small plate style fine dining. Don't miss the bison or antelope. Salads good. Small portions designed to allow multiple courses. Great menu. Nice setting. Good wine list. Allows corkage.

Well worth a visit if you are in Deer Valley. Very nice location, interesting concept of "small plates" (but you can order as many as you like). And a great idea to have each plate accompanied by a wine. Our server, Scott, was both engaging and knowledgeable. A great evening, and well worth snagging a reservation to eat here.

Small plate menu was very appealing after usual vacation overeating. White linen tablecloths and service to match. The food was excellent and the quieter atmosphere allowed us to actually have a conversation- getting to be a rarity in many restaurants. The prices were a good value for the level of the food and service.

We visit Mariposa every year and this year we were really disappoint. The tasting menu has not changed much from past years. The appetizers were excellent, however our main courses were terrible. As one of the most expensive restaurants in Park City it is going down hill.
