This is a place for romance and food & wine pairing appreciation. If you are not into delicate & artful presentation of high quality food & flavor paired with perfect wines, Mariposa is not for you. If you are concerned about portion size and value, Mariposa is not for you. This is the type of place that we still talk... More

Having frequented, Mariposa since the late '90s, we were beginning to find their dinner menu a bit stale, and the atmosphere, even during Sundance, had grown staid. Thus, we were intrigued to hear that the kitchen has reinvented itself, with a whole new roster of marvelous, albeit pricey, small dishes. We were shown to a cozy "romantic" alcove, but the... More

We have eaten at Mariposa 3 times this winter and thoroughly enjoy the small plate menu.My daughter is vegetarian and allergic to gluten and soy and she actually gets delicious and interesting food.

Mariposa was recommended to us by our concierge and we were very disappointed in the ambiance and the pretentious service. We arrived with three children (our kids are on spring break) and there was no kids menu - they had a choice of multiple small plates to order from. The first and second floor have great bustling ambiance, but we... More

4 fun women shared 15 plates. This is my ideal way of dining. The small plates enabled us to all have a few bites of each dish so we tasted a lot of great tasting food in one night. All the dishes we tasted were professionally seasoned and plated simple and appealing. Our server was very knowledgable and did a... More

We loved the small plate approach, finding it a wonderful way to try an assortment of the delicious creations the Mariposa offers - from starters to entrees to desserts! The menu is creative, the flavors are imaginative and delicious. From the intimate European-style environment, to the warm and attentive service throughout, we loved everything! It added a special touch to... More

Ok. Call me a sucker. I read the reviews. I knew the deal. Small portion sizes, expensive. But, our hosts wanted to try this place, so we obliged. After spending over $500.00 for 4 people, we walked out hungry and ripped off. The look on our husband's faces when the 1 scallop for $19.00 came out, said it all. My... More

We've been to Mariposa many times in the past, and it is one of our favorites in Park City, but we haven't been since they revamped the menu to small plates. In the past, we usually chose the tasting menu, but were always a little sad that there were lots on the menu that we would have to pass on.... More

We dined with friends at Mariposa, as we often do when visiting Deer Valley. It keeps getting better, with outstanding dishes and world class service -- even though it is in the Silver Lake Lodge that hosts the skiers cafeteria and lockers. Our server (Stephanie) went above and beyond to meet special requests and the atmosphere on a frigid snowy... More
