Having always wanted to visit the Stein Eriksen Lodge, we arranged to have dinner here because the hotel was completely booked. The positives: the setting and views are magnificent, and the level of service rivals MIchelin-starred restaurants we've visited. The letdowns: the dining room is dark and low-ceilinged, lending a gloomy air, and the food is simply not that tasty.... More

We dined with a group of friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our fine meals. Several of us had the halibut special and it was great. The service was good, the ambiance wonderful. Desserts were great. The outdoor patio was lovely, the lodge itself very nice. We all agreed it was a great choice for a fine dining experience although... More

It had been some time since our last visit but the Sunday brunch did not disappoint. The selection was outstanding as ever. Staff was very helpful and insured we had an orderly table as we returned a number of times to the food stations. I strong recommendation as the best in the valley.

We have ,on occasion treated our children to the brunch at Steins. Very good high quality. Bananas foster to die for , Carving station , crab and a huge assortment of deserts. Reservations are a must. Bill was around 125.00 for 4 of us. Covered valet parking and great views. Great for people watching and have seem some celebrities here... More

We enjoyed drinks and a pretzel from the "Apres Bike" menu on the outdoor terrace. Very nice. This is an older property, perfectly maintained, and has a more intimate feel than other luxury hotels in Park City. Paid the bill and headed to the airport.......and forgot my camera bag under the table. No problem: a short phone call and the... More

Glitretind can be difficult to get into for dinner in high ski season. Although we did not have dinner, we did have lunch on the terrace and breakfast the next morning. The variety on the breakfast buffet was very nice. Lunch on the terrace was also very nice but very expensive, as is to be expected at the Stein Erickson.... More

Ate dinner at Glitretind at Stein Erikson this week. Beautiful setting, excellent food, food presentation beautiful and enjoyed the combinations the chefs come up with - overall great meal. Executive Chef Zane stopped by our table discussing some of the selections and was very personable as was Chef Miller when he stopped by. You owe it to yourself to eat... More

The Stein Eriksen restaurant, though having beautiful views, does not measure up to the quality of the resort. Service was very slow at times and food preparation was also not up to par with some dishes. Mildly limited menu selection but the staff is always trying to please the guests.

The service and food at the Glitretind are inventive yet not unusual. Pairing of local sources with classic preparation and generous portions. The staff is helpful and attentive and the menu has something for everyone at prices that are fair. You are in a 5 star setting with 6 star service but with reasonable prices.
