We were there to celebrate New Year's Eve. The menu was elaborate and creative. Each dish was served by Glenn, who really took good care of our group. Our meal was superb, service was some of the best I've had. We would definitely go back.

We loved the appetizers we enjoyed at the bar area on previous days and throught that meant the entrees would be wonderful, too. Wrong! Now the truffle pizza, mussels, and tuna tartare were excellent. The Hawaiian Snapper tasted frozen rewarmed, and maybe out of date. I opted for the Wagu Strip at medium rare. It came back med to med well.... More

Get the Turkey Chili or the Shrimp Salad or the Tuna Burger for lunch. Those were our favorites, although you can't go wrong with anything.

Outstanding....what I have come to expect from a Jean-Georges resto. Everything about the meal was spectacular, from the dramatic backdrop and ride up the hill via the FUNicular, to my catching the sunset champagne ritual, to the design of the restaurant, to the food. Our group shared the tuna tartare which was very citrusy and quite good. The baked bread... More

We just had an extraordinary dining experience. The champagne our waitress suggested was an experience for the taste buds, fireworks for the mouth. We ordered the ahi appetizer, divine. The braised short rip, melted in our mouths...the flavors, service and experience, one of the best. Culinary dining that is nothing short of spectacular.

Yes, the funicular is a great experience, but this place doesn't really have it! It does not seem to have much personality. Nothing wrong with the food, but it comes across as a tourist or dating experience. Either way, I just don't enjoy places like this. Give me real people and ones that seem to appreciate your business. Won't go... More

While the drinks, snacks, and deserts were very tasty; the service was very slow and seemed understaffed especially as it was an event weekend at the resort. Backogs at the valet parking (though not the restaurant's operation); slow service and could only get one drink at a time (you needed 2 due to the wait in between and the drinks... More

Even if your budget does not allow you to lodge at the fabulous St. Regis, be sure to dine at J&G while you are in the Deer Valley area. Jean-George is the master chef, and the food will not disappoint you. Three of us ordered the Arctic Char, which, not surprisingly, was expertly prepared. Service was adequate, and the atmosphere... This was a great meal. Almost an excellent one. I had the tasting menu accompanies with a win pairing. The tasing menu started off with an amazing tuna tartare. It had a level of spiciness I was surprised about and actually liked a lot. Then came the prawns in some sort of black pepper sauce. Again quite spicy and possible... More

We had a reservation for 11 between Christmas and New Years at the J&G Grill in the St Regis Hotel. We were not staying in the Hotel. We were treated to the private dining room and greeted warmly upon arrival. Our family ranges in age from 6 to 66 and EVERYONE was treated with respect and attention. Our waiter was... More
