Our server Tiffany was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. She helped guide us to our dinner choices of Fried Chicken (seriously) and an average ribeye. The absolute best part of the meal was a hand made biscuit drenched in local honey. They could sell it for desert. The dinner was expensive but that was expected. The ambiance was... More

We ate at Talisker on Main on Christmas Day 2014. The service was uneven: some were attentive and helpful while others were not. The restaurant itself is lovely with nice decor, but the food was mediocre to truly bad. It was also shockingly expensive given the food quality. I rarely feel compelled to give a bad review when I feel... More

I was so surprised by the success of this restaurant - it has a new chef and the man is dynamite. I don't give five stars out easily but the perfectly done 1½ inch-thick pork chop with the outstanding "tater-tots"(shaved potatoes and shallots, truffle oil, and rosemary, etc.) deep-fried, my daughter's perfect fried chicken, a great wine list...! The service... More

I've eaten here several times and each time is consistently wonderful. Charming atmosphere although sitting near the door in the winter can be a chilly spot. Make reservations ahead; request the wine room or library. Sitting adjacent to the open-glass kitchen is also unique and good. Definitely eat here when visiting.

What this place really excels at is unabashed snobbery. We were seated next to the door despite the designation of Open Table VIPS. After the third time the door was opened and ushered in frigid mountain air we were glad we hung onto our down parkas. When asked if there was anything they could give us, we dared to suggest... We went skiing in Park City over the winter break, and managed to score an early (5:30) reservation at the last minute. My husband, daughter and her boyfriend had been walking around Main Street the night before and saw this very appealing place. The four of us went and the food was fabulous. Two of us had the duck, which... More

I've tried 'em all, and this is the only real deal. If you're not going to Talisker, don't bother trying to eat at a good restaurant in Park City; just stay in your room. I've been three times and it has consistently been excellent. Definitely try the biscuits, the fried chicken, any venison, the green beans and the lamb. Decent... More

On my recent visit to Talisker on Main, I was surprised to find that the evolving farm to table inspired menu had become quite pedestrian. While the descriptions all sound creative and savory, some of the dishes fall flat. The Lobster and Crab Beignets were doughy. The Tater Tots were heavily fried leaving the subtle flavors almost undetectable. The Lamb... More

Clement, new chef this past summer from Chamonix, France, has put together a menu that we four just loved. Three or four quiet little dining areas mean that your evening will be intimate and special. If the tab seemed like it would be on the high side but at the end our evening there it did not matter.
