Great concept, quality food, superior service - thank you to our server Charles who made it a highly entertaining evening. Raclette starter was voted best by my family - (thanks in part to Liam who told us a few stories) - in fact we doubled back for more just prior to dessert. All the food was high quality - and... Atmosphere, food and staff-awesome. A one time experience but too pricey for more. Not appropriate for small children.

What can be more scenic the dining in a ski lodge, on top of a snow covered mountain with trees outside lit in white lights?! The concept is that by four large fireplaces you are offered the four course meal. Current pricing is $60 per person and you may help yourself much as you would like. The food quality is... More

I am shocked by the negative reviews because I could not have been more impressed. The atmosphere was very unique and beautiful view in the front room. The food was great and staff was so friendly. The menu is unique but everything I had was so delicious. I would highly recommend for any family's or for a group night out.... More

It's basically a buffet, but the whole idea of serving out of the fireplaces puts a new and fun spin on it. The food was also really really good --- much better than you would expect from a buffet. We also set up a sleigh ride through the restaurant. We ate appetizers and had a first course, then went for... More

To make the most of this place you need to be really hungry! There's a great choice of food on offer, all cooked on open fires. Our fussy 11 year old even managed to down a couple of dishes. The food was tasty but it was really easy to feel defeated before we'd even started as there's so much on... More

We had a great time at Fireplace Dining. Our kids have egg and nut allergies and they were very helpful accomodating them, which can be a little scary in a part buffet situation. The cheese course was the favorite for some in our group, while others liked the veal stew the best. And of course the kids liked the dessert... More

Ahhh, Fireside Dinning never fails to impress me. The service and atmosphere is excellent! It's amazing how they can transform the Empire lodge into this beautiful buffet! There were 4 courses: 1) The melted cheese (raclet?) It was very good, make sure to get that strawberry compote and the mustards. 2) The second course was the hunter stew, trout, and... More

This place is very unique. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. There are different specials but our highlight was the lamb. There was a mushroom veal stew that I will be dreaming about. I think I won't need to eat for days after this meal. For my picky son they whipped up some fresh butter noodles and... More

I am glad we did not take our kids as they are picky eaters. The food was very good. This place would be much better if they invested a little in the ambiance. It feels like a very outdated ski cafeteria once your focus is not on the beautiful fireplaces. I am glad we went for the experience but not... More
