Ok, we spent the night in Bryce after a day in the canyon. After reading all of the reviews dissing all eats by Ruby's we went to this place for dinner. Mistake #1. Mistake #2 was ordering a $22 ribeye dinner. The salad bar was laughable. No tomatoes--really? Seriously, the best offering was the store bought cottage cheese. The ribeye... More

Stopped here for a late breakfast when in the Bryce area. Daughter and I both work in the service industry and agree the waitress was perfunctory. When we serve people, we always make them feel welcome to our state and show them interest. We were the only people in the restaurant; she took our order, she brought the food, she... More

Great prime rib after a few nights of camping food. Granted, it's not gourmet, but for the area and time of year, it was just what we were looking for. Servers were friendly and awesome as well, even though it was late. And the pie was off the chain - get the foster berry!!!!

Pulled in to the Foster's Steakhouse after a long day in and around Bryce Canyon. We were tired of the fare offered on the main road leading into Bryce Canyon and were hoping to have a nice roadside diner dinner. The restaurant is certainly diner-style: dark, wood-grain walls furniture, and booths. Dining counter, salad and soup bar, kitsch and plants... More

Foster's is a family run, down home restaurant. It is not fancy but it is quaint. We had their prime rib and it was tender, bland, and ample! Not the best I have had but definitely not the worst either. Meals come with the salad and soup bar---two kinds of soup and lettuce with just a few items to add---celery,... More

The food was very good and price was reasonable. Better yet, there was no crowd. While everyone else was at the Bryce Canyon tourist traps, we had a good meal and no long lines and crowds. This place is by far the best kept secret of Bryce Canyon. A++++++++++

The only thing I could find on the menu that appealed to me at lunchtime was the steak stir-fry. It was a nice little sirloin, grilled and sliced and laid over a bed of fresh veggies. It could be a very good dish, unfortunately because both the steak and the veggies were cooked to death, it was only average. The... More

Ordinary food. Easy dining. Not fancy. Packed up a large order for us to take out and remembered everything, including utensils!
