We did not even manage to exit our car, before an extremely rude woman came out of the restaurant and told us that the restaurant was closed. It was not even 8 pm. I understand that places around here close early, but a friendly greeting and explanation would not have lead me to write this review. What a disagreeable person.... More

Ordered pumpkin pancakes (yummy) and bacon. The bacon was so overdone it was actually black. I asked the waitress for some bacon that was not burned and she promptly returned with three pieces of half cooked bacon. This leads me to believe they cook up a big batch of bacon and let it sit until it's served. The pancakes were... More

Good food at a reasonable cost with the usual American large helpings and friendly waiter/waitress service. Tip, eat early or late on as queues can be long in the middle part of the evening.

Food was home made and good value, we were the only diners and she did not offer coffee. The title reflects the book/film by the same name I would not want to be held captive by her. Overall not bad but don't expect slick service.

My wife and I stopped there for dinner,"BIG MISTAKE". Ordered the rib eye steak and my wife ordered chicken. The waitress was unfriendly, acted like it was a big bother to take our order. I ordered my steak medium rare what I got was raw. Sent it back and got it vulcanized . It tasted like card board and chewed like... More

We had read good things about this restaurant in a guide book, so we ventured in when, apparently, a bus had stopped and overwhelmed them. After a few moments of waiting, we finally got a waitress who asked if we were with the bus. When we said we weren't, we were told, "You'll have to sit with the bus people,... More

Ordered the captain's menu option which consisted of deep fried shrimp, deep fried fish sticks and fries. It was all tasteless and greasy. The chicken soup was nice but Luke warm at best. As for the service the waitress didn't greet us or crack a smile once. I even tried to engage a conversation but got one word answers or... More
