My husband and I spent two days in Bryce Canyon. As there was only one restaurant there (in the hotel), we drove into Paguitch one day looking for something different. We love diners, so we decided to give this a try. The decor is tired. I don't mind old or places with character, but the... read more

Unfortunately, the town of Panguitch has so few dining options in the wintertime that Flying M was the only place to go to on a Saturday night. It was completely empty at 8 pm, and the food was very lackluster at best. The staff was friendly but the good service wasn't enough to offset the sub par food.

The restaurant was the only one open in town in late October. The carpet was dirty and the booths in terrible condition. My bench seat was ripped and extremely saggy. We would have asked to be moved but there were no other available booths and all looked to be in pretty poor condition. I had their turkey pot pie which... More

This was the ONLY restaurant open the night we spent in Panguitch, UT. The set up is odd, when you first walk in, it's a gift shop, but as you go further down you'll see the dining area. The restaurant itself reminds me of a old-fashioned diner. There is no host/hostess so you can just seat yourself at any open/clean... More

Homemade turkey pot pie and a pretty good chili (not Texan-style, but like my mom used tomake). Friendly server who helped us with the pronunciation of Panguitch (like "penguin" and "sandwich" smashed together).

Since it is the only restaurant in town, didnt really have a choice. Average Diner type food, not a whole lot of Scratch-Cooking I have to say. What they call 'The Special' Turkey Pot Pie for $9.00 was served in a paper Glad bowl and was the portion for a child. French Dip seemed like the beef came right out... More

It seems Panguitch closes down after the summer season. We'd driven from Parowan to Panguitch on Hwy 12 (a beautiful drive) stopping at Cedar Breaks - and arrived in Panguitch ...... HUNGRY. Nothing on the main drag seemed to be open for lunch. I asked a shop owner and she said we had two choices: The Flying M or a... More

Unfortunately, the weekend we stayed in Panguitch, this was the only restaurant open (the Cowboy's Smokehouse was also closed Sat 20th Sep). Got a table fairly quickly on the first night - and waited, and waited. Couldn't order a beer until food order was placed (Utah law, apparently) - but difficult to order food when the young waitress was more... More
