Well in this town, this part of utah, this is pretty much the best place to eat. It's not probably the best faire ever, and the help might not be as professioanal as a 5 star restaurant, but if you can get over yourselves and appreciate the ambiance, the old building, the effort the restaurant is making to serve complete... This cafe was highly recommended by the front desk at the inn where we were staying, who advised us to get there early to avoid a wait. Glad we did! Our Thursday night dinner at Cowboy's Smoke House was fabulous: a bar-b-que feast with all the trimmings! Vegetarian options, too! Service was a little slow but even with a full... More

Food was okay. Homemade pies were delicious. But location is out past town and hard to see from road.

Nice place, good service. Food was also good. Not a lot of choice in town, it's getting ready to shut down for the winter, but Cowboy's would have been good regardless.

After disastrous meals the previous two nights in Tropic at Clarke's and The Pizza Place we were wondering if it was possible to get a decent meal in SW Utah. No need to worry.Cowboy's was well worth a visit. We will return when in the area. We split the three meat combo, turkey, pulled pork and ribs and thoroughly enjoyed... More

Panguitch is the town closest to the Quality Inn Bryce Canyon. We were told this was probably the only table service restaurant open for dinner in town. (We did notice a pizza place and a Subway that were open on our way in to town, for faster food.) As you can imagine, the interior had a lot of wood and... More

Very long wait. Food not exceptional, far from that (our meats were fat and tough, my green beans were too cooked and not good at all). The prices are high for the quality of food. They increased the check by 17% because we were more than 5 persons. They don't accept credit cards and checks, only cash!! There is a... More

This was basically our best and only choice in town for dinner. Other chioces were basically fast food. It was explained to us that after the college crowd leaves in the fall many of the restaurants have a hard time getting staff. The food was good, especially the pulled pork dinner. There is beer available, no wine. We did have... More

The barbecue was great! Only one type of barbecue sauce, it wasn't as spicy as I would like but it still good. For some reason they only took cash when we were there, I don't know if that's always the way it is or if they had a problem. Service was a little slow but acceptable. We loved the food.... More
