Just visited the Cowboy's Smokehouse this evening, and it is the absolute star of Panguitch. Friendly service, very generous portions. All the meat is cooked in a smoker, it really locks in the flavor, and the whole restaurant smells of the smoke, it's incredible. For sides, don't miss the yam! For my fellow southerners, the BBQ sauce is sweet and... More

We stop here annually on our trips north to south. The food was still great, but the service was awful. We had a red head server who basically ignored us. He was very rude to another younger server. When he finally came to ask if we wanted deserts, I noticed he had a chew in...GROSS!!! In our conversation I found... More

Casual dining with good sized portions. The smoked meat is some of the best I have had - tender, moist and tasty. Even though they were busy, the service was fast and friendly. A small town touch was having the owner stop by our table to chat.

Walking into Cowboy's feels a bit like walking into the Wild West - wood everywhere - too cool! I only had the opportunity to eat here once, but really enjoyed the pulled pork dinner; there was even enough for leftovers the next day. I arrived about 4:30p,and by 5:30p, the place was getting packed, so I suggest arriving at times... More

This is a popular spot in this small town. Try and go off peak hours. They can not handle large crowd. Our food was delivered just warn after a long delay. This is cash only.No credit cards. The food would have been OK if hot. The servings are large. There are limited places to eat here and this probably is... More

We were excited by the reviews previously listed, but left disappointed and a bit hungry. Admittedly, the racks of ribs are large, but only okay. The beef brisket was laughably small, as are the sides. It's a busy place with a happy atmosphere and nice service, but we've had much better steaks and barbecue elsewhere.

The clerk at the Days Inn recommended this restaurant and it was worth every penny. We had to wait--a good sign of a popular place and finally chose to eat at one or the picnic tables outside. I had the pulled pork and sweet potato fries. Perfect. Well worth the money.

We had our first experience with these folks at the Clark County Fair (NV) years ago. Later on a vacation trip we happened to be in Panguich and had a nice meal there. So, this year we were planning a trip through southern Utah and decide to detour to Panguich and eat at the Cowboy Smoke House. Weeks prior to... More

I went here mid afternoon, so missing the lunchtime rush and before the early evening family time. No problems with a table anywhere I wanted, quick and efficient service. I had passed by a few times and it was always full previously. The atmosphere is southwestern, hunting trophies on the walls, wooden tables and chairs, very local. I had the... More
