Good food

Good food if you want different Mexican food. It was a nice change to eat here. Really enjoyed our dinner, and lunch. Will be going back!

We went for dinner. (3 times) Plan to get a to go box! Food is wonderfully prepared. tasty. Highly recommend visiting. Love the atmosphere too. CLean and Very Latin America decor. Even my aging parents loved it. Not too spicy for them. Everything that every person ordered was fresh & delicious.

Went on a Friday night, not terribly busy. The salsa was really good, if you like bland mild salsa. The dishes seemed to favor a sweet rather than spicy flavor. I ordered everything spicy, and, well, Meh..... Another thing, what kind of sit down Mexican food eatery doesn't offer any margaritas???

The food is a bit pricey, but it's fun and unique. The ceviche was really tasty- fresh and flavorful. The service providers were attentive, and water, chips and salsa were frequently filled. The food is a little sweet, but everyone at the table enjoyed it, especially the younger (12-14 year olds) teens. I enjoy dining here over other American-Mexican places... More

Ok, if you're craving real Mexican food, keep on driving and hit Betos or Maria Bonita. This place offers some sort of mutant food that isn't really Mexican and isn't really American. The chef thinks he's all creative and cool and I have to give his efforts a nod. The horchata is delicious and my chimichanga thingie was actually quite... More

The menu is not the typical Mexican restaurant fare. Some unique dishes that looked good. I had the seafood enchiladas on corn tortilla. Not bad. Service was good.

The food here is heavily sweetened. Their signature side is a honey-injected onion. It's difficult to find a food item that does not have a heavy sweet note. I've been disappointed in the borracho beans (drunken) beans. They have a stronger beer taste than I like (And I like alcohol-infused dishes, like Chicken Marsala). The queso fundido is yummy, but... The food was good, fresh. There was a average serving, Chips and salsa while you wait. Seemed like it took a little long to get the food to our table. But the food was quite good. Seamed a little pricey.

I went to Milagros for a business lunch and really enjoyed my meal and the service was good too. We shared a QUESO FUNDIDO appetizer and I had the Baby Back Enchiladas fall-off-the-bone-pork rib meat smothered in jalapeno BBQ sauce. Though the BBQ sauce was a bit sweet for my taste is was vey good, I ate every bite.

If you like all your Mexican food to be sweet, even the beans, then Milagros is your place! I ate there twice just after it opened, and personally didn't care for the sweetness, but others rave about it. To each his own, but when I want Mexican food I go elsewhere.
