Delicious food, but cold cafe!

We came for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning. We shared Joe's omelette because it looked so large. Good choice and it was delicious! Good amount for the price. However, I won't come in winter again because the cafe was so cold and drafty. I tried to eat quickly so we could leave and I could... read more

Love the breakfast, especially the pancakes. Family cooks and serves, and they put their hart into the service and quality of the food. Nice portions reasonably priced...

Stopped in as I've been trying to find the best breakfast place in the Provo/Orem area and this place was highly recommended. I see why. Its a cozy little southern style diner, with the woman at the register kind and inviting, with just pinch of southern sass. Joe was gregarious and checked with every guest on their food. Made me... Joe's personality is only surpassed by his food. Be ready for a slight delay w/everything as Joe is a true one-man show. Trust me, the delay is worth it but you better be ready to eat a lot of food or share with a friend. His omelette's are closer to 5 eggs instead of 3 and the pancake platter could... More

First of Joe (the owner) is one of the most congenial people you will ever meet in your life. He goes out of his way to make sure that the meal you get is fantastic. Keep in mind this is a cafe (not an upscale cafe, but a traditional cafe). It's small, quaint, and serves good food. A solid choice... More

Not a very good experience at all. My wife is southern born and bred and loves grits. She was excited to find real "down home" grits in this area that doesn't really have any. They were SWEET? Who makes sweet grits? I'm not a grit eater, but I lived in the south many years, myself, and have never, ever heard... More

Joe's is a little greasy spoon type of place that provides really good food, and an enjoyable experience. When you go there, make sure that you go hungry, because Joe will make sure you get plenty to eat. And Joe, well he's a character. He alone is worth taking the time to stop.

I have lived now 17 years in Utah County and have really missed a great breakfast place that put out a man sized breakfast with plenty of great food. I have now found that place! Joe's is a little hole in the wall with a very large following. It's one of the best breakfas I have enjoyed anywhere! Everything is... More

If you are all about ambience and social presence, this place is not for you. If you are about home cooked amazing food with plenty of it and a little of a cook's style and attitude you will love this place! Joe is what I call a real person (what u see is what you get). He is full of... More

I have tried to go for breakfast before on the recommendation of colleagues, but they were not open. I had forgot about this joint until coworkers picked it for lunch one day. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. It was spectacular with caramelized onions on toasted rye. The menu was full of things that I would like to try. I will... More
