Worth The Experience

Joe's is a little greasy spoon type of place that provides really good food, and an enjoyable experience. When you go there, make sure that you go hungry, because Joe will make sure you get plenty to eat. And Joe, well he's a character. He alone is worth taking the time to stop.

Not a very good experience at all. My wife is southern born and bred and loves grits. She was excited to find real "down home" grits in this area that doesn't really have any. They were SWEET? Who makes sweet grits? I'm not a grit eater, but I lived in the south many years, myself, and have never, ever heard... More

I have lived now 17 years in Utah County and have really missed a great breakfast place that put out a man sized breakfast with plenty of great food. I have now found that place! Joe's is a little hole in the wall with a very large following. It's one of the best breakfas I have enjoyed anywhere! Everything is... More

If you are all about ambience and social presence, this place is not for you. If you are about home cooked amazing food with plenty of it and a little of a cook's style and attitude you will love this place! Joe is what I call a real person (what u see is what you get). He is full of... More

I have tried to go for breakfast before on the recommendation of colleagues, but they were not open. I had forgot about this joint until coworkers picked it for lunch one day. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. It was spectacular with caramelized onions on toasted rye. The menu was full of things that I would like to try. I will... More

I thought everything was incredibly salty. Joe was friendly, but taxing as the lunch wore on. Not really any side options for the health-conscious.

We love Joe's Cafe. It really is delicious. Joe is a very energetic dude, to say the least. He is loud, outspoken, and really seems to appreciate his customers. The breakfast at Joe's is awesome. The grits are INSANELY good! I LOVE the biscuits and gravy, and their pancakes are UNFREAKENBELIEVABLE!!! Don't get the LARGE one though, because the two... More

ok folks: this is SOUTHERN style breakfast. That means it will be heavy, fried food, none of this healthy light-breakfast stuff that you serve out west. I mean, seriously, you order biscuits and gravy and expect it to not be heavy? It's biscuits and sausage in gravy! It's one of the heaviest things you can eat for breakfast! You want... More

Took my son to this place from breakfast. Even though it was only a few blocks from his work he didn't know of it. It is a small restaurant and easy to overlook. I had a Denver omelet and my son had the biscuits and gravy with a couple eggs. Both were tasty. The omelet was large with a generous... More

Best breakfast I have had. Joe is there and cooking. Ordered a three egg vegetarian omelet, fresh vegetables. Next time I will split with a friend. I like how Joe does not use salt and pepper, let's the customer decide what it needs. I am from the South and noticed Joe has grits. I ordered and before doctoring, tasted it.... More
