I have to say, finding this sweets bakery was a real find. It's in an old converted Victorian house. they make it quite cozy with little rooms to dine in all over the house. The sweets are wonderful. They make the most amazing cakes--the Cherub (chocolate with buttercream frosting) is my favorite. But they are all good. They have cupcakes,... More

Good atmosphere, fun space to eat in, and great cakes. I'm not a big cake man, but I can usually go for the chocolate just because of the experience.

At the end of a 2-day business trip I had dinner at Five Star BBQ and then headed here to The Chocolate for desert. The choices included 5 different cakes from velvet to vanilla to chocolate, one called the "husband" and various cupcakes as well as a pumpkin cookie -- all looked like high-quality deserts, none of which I tried.... I'm so glad this place is thriving. I heard they added new seating inside. No doubt because everyone who ever goes there is already planning a trip back before they pay their bill. They have the most mouth-watering, heavenly, homemade creations. It's hard to decide but anything chocolate really hits the spot.

Pizookie (chocolate chip cookie backed in a small pizza pan served with vanilla ice cream on top) was really good. Cake we had was average. I'm being generous giving this place 4 stars.

My wife and I LOVE this place. It's in an OLD house on State Street in Orem, and they have some fantastic desserts. The one we get every time has a funny name, that I can't remember, but it's basically a HUGE cookie, with Vanilla ice cream on it, and it is divine. When we want to be fat fat's,... More

Salsa lessons before the real party begins. Every Thursday my girls and I hit chocolate. It is a social club, not a regular club. No creepy guys standing in the parimeter staring at you, no alchohol. Just a good time.

The Chocolate is a high end bakery, with a gluten-free option. I have used it for special occassions, never ate there. I have always had all who eat the cakes, etc express extreme delight. Slightly expensive, but you get what you pay for...

We came with a large group and took over one of the charming rooms in the upstairs of a small gingerbread house. We had heard good things about the fresh-baked-cookie with vanilla ice cream dish and we were not disappointed. Wow! Tasted homemade and perfect with a frosted glass of milk. It look about 30 minutes to get our order... More

We dropped in just to check it out and the service is pretty rough. No greeting no smiles just a "what do you want". I should have turned around then. The treats were okay and the coffee taste old. I won't be stopping by again anytime soon.
