We moved to Utah from Japan and began missing the food right away. We came here and were pleasantly surprised! They offered us a private tatami room, which we enjoyed very much. It's not truly private, as the walls do not reach the ceiling - conversations from neighboring rooms are easily overheard. The food was great, though with an American... More

The assorted tempura veggies are very tasty. I enjoyed my chicken teriyaki but the beef teriyaki was overcooked. Will visit again.

We are frequent fliers at this fun little establishment. Call ahead and request a private dining and you will find yourself sitting on the pillow on the floor in a private rice screen room. They do not have a liquor license but will allow you to bring in your own drinks. Nice little money-saving bonus. Reasonable à la cart items... More

This is a family favorite for us. Birthdays. Anniversaries. Just want some sushi for no real reason? this is the place. Ask for a room and you will be seated in a cute little private 'tea room' type thing. Sit in the regular dining room if your knees won't allow you to use the low tables in the private rooms.... More

We had a good time here, and good sushi. Very family friendly. We sat in the open area instead of the booths. Great service. Still, if you have to pick one sushi joint in Ogden, I'd say Tona's wins on ambience, downtown location, and availability of alcohol.

We heard about Wendy's when we first got stationed at Hill AFB. Everyone told us if we wanted Sushi head to Wendy's, so we did. I haven't eaten in the regular dinning room, but the individual tea rooms have a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The last time we were at Wendy's they didn't serve alcohol but you can bring in... Decent sushi in Ogden? Stumbled upon this place via my GPS after driving 8 hours on I-84 and was pleasantly surprised. Had to wait a bit for a table, because the restaurant was packed with enthusiastic locals. Had soup, soybeans, tuna tataki platter (great cilantro dressing) and a specialty roll. All were yummy, and the staff was accommodating when I... More

Ok sushi, but hard to compete with other sushi restaurants. I must say they have the best dressing.

This place is old school, it's been serving wonderful Japanese food and sushi to the generations of people in the Ogden area for longer than I can remember. Best calamari anywhere. It has a heavenly light tempura batter and is paired with a slightly spicy sauce that perfectly compliments it. If I had to pick one food to eat every... More
