I had been here before with a large group, but didn’t remember the food. I think I know why. We went at lunch and while they weren’t slammed, there didn’t appear to be enough wait staff and even a party of 5 caused delays in the kitchen according to what the waitress told another table with the wrong order. We... More

A fun bar with casual atmosphere. There beer selection is great. I ordered their samplers. Unfortunately, they were only able to bring me 2 samples at a time (very small samples) because of the laws. I gave up on the samples and got one of their bottled beers. They should increase their samplers by 3X and charge $1.25 per sample... More

We ate there 2 nights in a row. The food was always excellent and they have great beer selections. One of our friends ate there 4 nights in a row because the food was so good.

We stayed in Ogden on business for a week and we visited Rooster's on three separate occasions. It is absolutely delicious. The menu is original and the craft beers are very creative and tasty as well. We went on a Tuesday and enjoyed the beef medallions and a wonderful Santa Fe salad, while eating the server let us know that... More

This restaurant was recommended by our son so we figured it would be good. I ordered a steak (medium) but it came back rare. The cheese sauce was so greasy that ended up scraping it off and blotting the meat on my napkin - still very rare - the sautéed vegetables literally swam in the oil at the bottom of... More

We sat down a couple minutes after arrival on a slow lunch day. No big deal, but when we finally sat down a server took forever to come by. When she did she was very rude. My boyfriend had asked her a question and she gave him a look like he was stupid and answered him in the same manor.... More

Food and service are excellent. I love the sense of humor in the place. When you walk in the restaurant, over the bar are T-Shirts saying, "sister wife", and I tried polygamy in Utah". :)

We didn't have a very good experience. When we walked in, the place wasn't that busy and we were seated right away. But our server was slow to come to us and bring out drinks. We then ordered. I got the fish and chips - which was OK. My husband got the Dill Carrot soup (which he said was good)... More

This is our favorite local restaurant for dinner. We order different dishes from their regular menu and specials, as well. The patio is a nice place to eat and drink beer. I would also recommend their homemade root beer. There are also outdoor sculptures along the sidewalk and, seasonally, painted horses.

August 2013, Ogden, UT: we had a very good dinner here We were pleasantly surprised about quality of our entrees last night. My Wife had "PUB SKEWERS": (1) skewer of syrah-herb marinated BBQ'D beef filet-chunks, (1) skewer of pepper-jack Bbq'd chicken breast. (1) skewer Ahi Tuna filets cooked in a ginger glaze with wasabi ranch, served with Mediterranean sauteed vegetables.... More
