This restaurant was just across the street from our hotel the Hilton Garden Inn so super convenient. We enjoyed our meal after a long day at various nature reserves. The Margaritas were really good and we also enjoyed the food here. The décor seemed a bit strange to us Brits but the service was very good, helpful and friendly.

With all my traveling, I have to say, Sonora Grill is still my favorite restaurant of all time! All the food is prepared fresh and although I am sad that stopped making the Chili Colorado, which was marinated chunks of beef, everything I have ever had there is absolutely delish!

I have eaten here twice. The food is very good and the margarita's are just as yummy. Nice selection of menu choices.

The Sonora Grill in downtown Ogden never disappoints! It is lovely inside and out, and is conveniently close to local attractions. Everything I've eaten there is delicious, but I especially love the chimichangas. The homemade chips and salsa are amazing. We have always had great service, even for large groups; they are very accommodating. The owner seems to have lots... More

The Sonora Grill is across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn making for an excellent stop over between Boise and Denver. I had the Chile Rellenos and they were very good although the Poblanos were slightly undercooked (crunchy) for my taste. The refried beans and rice were way above average with no adverse after effects, if you catch my... More

Food was great. Certainly not a Tex-Mex nor a Mexico City or Acapulco/PV - more L.A. cuisine but it was good. Service was fair. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The reception/lobby was truly filthy - window sills, floor, bench, book cases, etc. This was at 5:30 on a week night and few patrons were in the restaurant. The... More

Lunch in this upscale restaurant was fun. It is downtown Ogden, which is really a vibrant setting. NIce atmosphere - our server was attentive. We had fish tacos and pulled pork burrito - portions are huge. The presentation of both dishes was unique. We enjoyed our experience. This is however, not a Mexican restaurant, but is a restaurant that has... More

Based on the reviews I thought this place was going to have great authenic Mexican food. Sadly, I was disappointed. I went here for dinner. The resturant is well decorated and the food is well plated. It just isn't the quality of food I was expecting. It was about as Mexican as Olive Garden is Italian. The enchilidas were rather... More

This is a nice restaurant in an upscale area of downtown Ogden. We decided to visit The Sonora Grill because of its location, reviews, and its extensive gluten-free menu. It had a very nice atmosphere for a family dinner. The chips are plentiful, and are actually fried corn tortillas that need to be broken up. Salsa was only average. Menu... More

Oh man! This is one of the best mexican food I have had. The restaurant was fully book for a party but the GM in the restaurant still made room for us. At first we were going to leave because it was outside, but once we sat down and felt the cool breeze everything was great. The dipping salsa had... More
