Trucker dinner

It was all you can expect from a truckers dinner. On the menu steaks and burgers What we ordered was good but not WAUW Service was friendly so no comment on that Interior was like you would expect from a truckers dinner. We stopped here on our way from Bryce to the Grand Canyon. This was one of those unexpected brilliant experiences. The breakfast was lovely, the room really quaint, the service great and it was really good value - $31 for 3 large breakfasts with drinks. Alas not the right time of day to try the pies for us. Thoroughly recommended.

We had several meals at the Thunderbird during a recent visit to the area. Servers were occasionally inattentive but all very friendly, and most food was very good. The stuffed breakfast biscuits are a total calorie bomb but what a way to go! We also had good steak and chicken dishes; pasta dishes were uneven. Salad bar is very small... More

Our lodging was at this location, so we had both dinner and breakfast there. Neither were very good. We read good reviews for the Soup Town Cafe down the road, but it was closed Sunday and Monday- the two days we were there, so we didn't get to try it. Nice to see there might be restaurants with good food,... More

Every night there's a special and they go fast. I had my eye on the prime rib for $14.99, but by the time we got our act together and came to the restaurant, it was sold out! The breakfast was hearty and delicious.

This is one of those places that are worth checking out for the history if nothing else. We had read a little about the Thunderbird and since we were headed from Zion to Bryce, why not stop? Breakfast was very good as was the pie. A blueberry muffin headed out the door with us and made for a tasty snack... More

I'm 59 but I felt like my 5 year old self when I ate here recently for breakfast with my family. I could have sworn Eisenhower was still president and TV was all black and white. I had forgotten what meals tasted like before the Food Channel and the invention of seasonings. The staff were trying as hard as they... More

Was heading back to Page from Panguitch and decided to have lunch at Thunderbird. I had the chicken sandwich and fries and it was very tasty. But I made sure to save room for pie!! I had the chocolate pie. Very good - but very rich. It comes with chocolate syrup on top of it and next time I'd probably... More

We were staying at the motel to which this restaurant is attached so it was the logical choice. As it was a weekend, the restaurant was full and we had to wait to be seated. My brother ordered a soup and salad and I ordered a Country fried steak. All the food was okay but nothing to write home about. We didn't... More
