Blast from the past...

We stayed at the nice unadvertised Riverside Rv Park right across the street. Great fresh fish. Service was okay but had a big group so understood why and just watched people. Homemade pie was awesome. Neon sign is so cute and brings back memories of 50's.

Good home cooking and terrific, friendly, prompt service. Spent 4 days there ATV riding in the area, bunking at the hotel and eating exclusively at this restaurant. EVERY meal was great for all in our group, surpassed only by the service and helpful, friendly staff on every shift. We felt like we were family. Special thanks to Manager Ed Myers... More

When we drove down Hwy 89 from Escalante to Zion in 2010, we did not stop to eat here. This time, we did and it was a surprise and a delight! It's a good thing we arrived when we did because 2 busloads of tourists poured in the door just after our order was placed with our server, "Tucker", who... More

May 28, 2015. We stopped in here for dinner after a day of hiking at Zion National Park. The menu is very diverse, prices are average and the food was delicious! It is attached to the hotel and gift shop that was started by a family who homesteaded here in the early 1900s. The restaurant has an interesting story that... More

Motorcycling through southern Utah, we stopped here for lunch and to take of picture of the Ho-Made Pies sign. Easy in and out and parking, but we were there and gone before the busses hit. Dining room was clean, service fine. Meal was good, if pricey. The pie was terrific.

Stopped at the Thunderbird Restaurant on the way to Bryce Canyon. Heard the pie was great and wanted to find out what the "Ho-made" was all about. We had breakfast and my chicken fried steak skillet was wonderful and too plentiful to finish because I had to save room for pie. The apple pie reminded me of my own pie,... More

Great place for lunch or just a piece of "HO-Made" pie. The history of the place if fascinating. Great sandwiches and the coconut cream pie is to die for. The crust....flaky and just right.............yum!!!!

We stayed at the Best Western which was attached to the Thunderbird a Restaurant. Food was very nice but the a Coconut Creme Pie was to die for. Best I've ever eaten. The location was great for us as we were visiting both Bryce Canyon and Zion NP. Lovely room at the Best Wester too. Definitely stay here again if... More
