This restaurant is only one of the 2 restaurant in this area that I know of. The other being at Goulding's lodge. The restaurant food is strictly okay. The traditional Navajo dishes are better and you should try them out. There are long queues during dinner so that was very frustrating. the service was below poor. The breakfast food was... More

The restaurant is crowded, it's the only one around, and the food is good. Try the Navajo inspired dishes, you can get a hamburger anywhere.

Your choices are limited and the night we were there, the food was not too good. It took away a tiny amount from the visit, and while we could have eaten more than once there. Once was enough

The waitress was friendly though not very helpful in suggesting something. The thing she should of suggested is that we find food somewhere else. I had the mutton stew it tasted like warm water that someone threw in well cooked carrots and potatoes. Drink the warm water in your room, it is more flavorful and less expensive. The view of... You go here for the view. None like it, anywhere, especially at sunset. Breathtaking, and makes the rest of the experience worth what you pay. You don't have many choices without a LONG drive, especially in the winter, and they don't take reservations, so try to make sure this is what you want. Lovely Food and the salad and soup bar was a nice surprise. Service was a lttle slow and if you were staying at the View you couldn't charge the meal to your room

Breakfast buffet is pretty good; our lunch and dinner entrees were fine but could have used more flavor. We appreciated the chance to try Navajo items from the menu. Fantastic view from any table in the restaurant, there is no need to be next to a window (you will only see more patio and sky from there). The dining room... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, but I cannot say the same for the restaurant. Your choice in eating establishments in Monument Valley are very slim, so if you're staying at the hotel you will most likely stop here. The food is lacking major flavor, creativity and freshness. Our waitress was friendly and attentive but she couldn't make... More

If you walk away hungry form this place, it's your own fault! Good food, good menu selection, affordably priced, and the staff was very cordial.

The Breakfast Buffet is perfectly adequate with the variety of fresh fruits, assorted pastries and toast, juices, eggs, hot oatmeal, yoghurt and so on. The bacon was especially excellent as I like mine crispy! Serving staff is very helpful and friendly. The price was economical. There was no shortage of any of the buffet offerings. Supper is local food but... More
