Lip Licken good

The food there is always good. They have a large variety of food to choose from. The hamburgers are great as well as the fries. Milk shakes are wonderful. I have also tried their spagetti and it is good. Once in a while the fries will be at the end of the bag or something they don't come out... read more

Had a pastrami burger, onion rings, and a turkey sandwich. I was a little disappointed with the turkey sandwich because it wasn't grilled, and I thought it would be. Other than that, everything was delicious. Also got a cherry-limeaid. The menu is a little difficult to read, but if you ask your server for a menu you can hold they... More

Have been going to Hires Big H since it first opened in 1959 and to Litzas Pizzas since IT opened (I believe in 1965). Both rate high on my quality of food and service list. You need to try them if you haven't already!!!!

Basic burgers, fries, pizza, etc. Love to go there with the kids. Service is good. Food was served quickly and hot. Interesting to read the information about the origins of Hires. You can order drive-in style if you like.

Hires has one of the best burgers in town and still maintains classic root beer in a frosty mug, car hop and soda fountain service. Fresh ground beef and incredibly fresh buns are their signature items. It's a great hamburger joint that will take you back in time.

The root beer was served in a frosty mug and tasted delicious. However, no refills were offered. There is a wide variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and pizza. The portions were just right. The Hawaiian burger was very good, and the turkey cranberry sandwich was too soggy because it was made with regular white bread.

This is a nice, friendly establishment. They make a great burger, and the iced root beer was refreshing.

Go somewhere where they can remember t if they took your order or not. This is not the place. Food is good. Dirty inside and service is slow and not worth the ok food.

GREAT if you miss the old fashioned rootbeer and long for a rootbeer float. Hamburgers are good - buns amazingly fresh. They have fish and chicken and salads and pizza - something for most everyone who wants a fast and inexpensive meal after skiing.
