After we were seated we waited 10 minutes for someone to come and fill our water glasses. It was the person who seated us and he filled the glasses without a smile, a look at us or any info on when our server would be by to take our order. We waited another 4 minutes, watching the 5 servers there... More

If you have occasion to visit Salt Lake City, let me steer you to Epic Casual Dining in Midvale: a short skip from downtown Salt Lake. The food, atmosphere and service is exceptional; and the price is right. We have dined at Epic several times and have never been disappointed. Their beer and salads are second to none, and the... What a disaster! - My wife had fond memories of Epic Casual Dining and she has raved about going back. We both love Tiburon Fine Dining (owned by the same people) and I was excited to try Epic on my wife's recommendation. ......... what can I say!? Firstly we were escorted to a table and left there for 10 minutes... More

Sometimes you find a place that you don't want to share in a strip mall. This is true with Epic, a nice, mainly Italian restaurant, located on the north side of busy Fort Union Boulevard. The place is simple, yet pleasant. The noise levels are not as loud as many other places and you can easily carry on a conversation... More

This was my first visit to Epic and I was pleasantly surprised. Casual but still very nicely appointed so it would be nice to go there not only for lunch but also for a relaxing dinner. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu has many tasty items to try at future visits. I ordered the salmon cakes which were... More

Enjoyed a very tasty lunch at a moderate price. The brick oven flatbread, three olive tapenade with humus was excellent as were the two wraps we enjoyed. Your taste buds will enjoy the new flavor explosions of their menu.

Let me start with the positives. I had a wonderful serve named Ashley. Pleasant, personable, polite, attentive but not overbearing. She read me as a customer, knowing I was not in a hurry and would not need to be doted over. Kudo’s to her. I enjoyed the acoustical guitar of Ryan Miller and was glad I was there on a... More

This is a favorite of my wife and mine. If you are tied of the usual chain restaurant options, try Epic. They offer a wide variety of choices. The flat bread appetizers are great. The salads are a feast as well. Make sure to try either one or the other. If you have both, you probably won't be able to... More

This is one of my favorites. The food is great! The portions are of good value and we love the menu. I do wish the pepper crusted steak would come back on the menu but nothing we have ordered was bad. We loove all of the flat bread options! Yummy!!!

I wish I had stayed in the Salt Lake area longer so I could eat here again! My dinner of pork medallions was excellent. Atmosphere was elegantly, one might say epicly, casual. I thought the food was very good for this style of restaurant.
