The last time I was here, I remember it being an almost out of this world experience. I had a buy one get one free coupon, so I decided to try two of their mainstays: the famed garbage hash and one of their waffles topped with strawberry and ice cream. Boy! i don't think they have cleaned this place since it opened. the rug is beyond gross and the tables are sticky. expect flies. the food is ho hum. it needs a major cleaning. check out the salt lake county health department inspection results and don't eat there.

The omelet and toast was delicious. The hash browns were disappointing due to cool temperature and over cooking. The waitress was attentive; however, it was about about a twenty minute wait for our food. The wait seemed excessive, since there were only 4 or 5 tables of customers. Ate here with family, coffee and food were good. Large portions. Only issue was that the booth has broken springs in the cushion. Very uncomfortable, that spot was avoided. Not very crowded, lots of seating.

We enjoyed our brunch here, even if we had quite a ways to drive. I had the blueberry buckwheat pancakes with huge juicy blueberries and special, warm blueberry syrup! Melted in my mouth!

I went here for breakfast with some friends. I was absolutely blown away with my sirloin steak, 2 eggs, abundant homemade hash browns (wonderful and not dripping in grease) and toast for less than $9. Will definately eat here again next time I'm in Salt Lake!

The best thing about it was that it was near our motel. At 9 in the morning there was hardly anyone there, which is not a good sign. The food, and my overall impression of the place, was just barely so-so.
