I've been here twice with large groups from work. The service is good and fast. The food is tasty, but not high-end. The décor is funky with lots to look at.
The food in this restaurant is excellent, we had tried several dishes here and all are really good, the atmosphere here is really nice. Chantee is an excellent server who really take care of her customers, the Italian decoration and the photos are really cool. A must go. ( the service here is better than the other Bucca di Beppo... We love the Margarita Pizza! it is so similar to what we had in Italy we just love it's thin crust. The Apple Gorgonzola Salad is awesome as well and the tomato sauce on the pasta is just like fresh!
We went to this place to enjoy Italian food . You need to try . Two or three people can eat with a small order , and it is a really tasty and wonderful food.
Really tasty food served here. Huge portions (family style). Luckily, my husband and I like the same things. We had no problem agreeing on a salad and entree to share. I love the salad with the apples and spiced walnuts! We also ordered ravioli with meat sauce, which was delicious. Bread also comes with the meal (like you have room... More
Walked across the street after a long day skiing. Ordered a Rigatoni pasta dish and chopped salad. Both were excellent but they give you so much food that by the time we got to the pasta we were both so full from the salad (do not like day old salad). Ate the pasta for a couple of days because there... More
Yummy food. Not a place to go with 2 people unless you like the same stuff. You have to share a "small" which is plenty of food, but really hard when you have different tastes. The gelato sundae was HUUUGE and more than enough for 2. Would return with somebody who has similar taste.
Caution: The food is served family style in large portions! The waitress was great informing us of the sizes so we ordered accordingly. The food was tasty and we enjoyed every bit of it.
Buca may be fine for groups but they have virtually no selection for solo travelers. The choices are limited to just a couple or so dishes and they are just pastas. Avoid if flying solo. I found the dish I ordered to be smothered in a heavy sauce. If you like that sort of Americanized dish, you'll like Buca.
