BEST THAI FOOD IN Salt Lake City!

We had just gotten back from visiting Thailand, and we thought we tried this place and we were so impressed!!! The flavors are authentic, absolutely not watered down or sweetened to appease foreign tastes. They also serve American food, probably cause they don't compromise! I LOVE this place!

Holy Cow! What an amazing experience it was to take a cooking class here and taste their authentic food! The owner is from Thailand, and makes food just as authentic as it gets--especially in Utah. This is the first time I have been able to order food as spicy as I wanted it, and they do it right. Hands down... More

This place keeps the same quality of service, food and friendliness day after day, year after year. The food has wonderfully authentic flavors and never misses a beat. Servers are fabulous and the owner is simply a delight. I highly recommend this restaurant for top quality Thai flavors and hospitality.

On an extended visit with our three year old, we wanted breakfast but had grown tired of the hotel's buffet and local greasy spoons. We noticed Chabaar was offering breakfast and found both typical American fare and a few Thai offerings. Well my son is a rice junkie, so I figured we'd give it a shot. As we walked in,... More

Tried a few Thai places around SLC while on a business trip, and this by far was the best. The service was excellent and the food was quite tasty. I like spicy food, and can handle a decent amount of heat. I got the Pad Thai, thought I'd be safe at a level 3, but the waitress recommended I do... More

We found this restaurant in a round-about way, but once we did the journey was "fun". Anny, the owner (and native Thai), has really embraced social media and includes, among other things, free youtube classes on how to make Thai dishes. She also offers once a month cooking classes in one of her three locations. So check out her Facebook... More

I went to Chabaar with some friends. Overall, it was very good, but I'm sure glad I had read the other reviews and only ordered the heat level of 1/2. I like medium spicy food, but with just the level at 1/2, it was almost too hot. The service was good and the food had good flavor. I had one... More

the first time I ate at this place I really like their food, it was probably one of the best thai food I've tried, BUT the second time, I got the same dish, the meat had a very strange smell, I am a MEAT lover but this time not only I did not finish my dish, I was putting the... More

Definitely check this place out. It is definitely some of the hottest I've had - don't go up a level just for bragging rights. Your intake manifold may handle the heat, but your exhaust will surely lament the next day. We got the level 2 - and it was HOT! This was comparably some of the best Thai food we've... More
