Great Food Crappy Service

I asked the waitress for a refill- half an hour later she still never gave it to me. I then asked her how she was coming on my refill and she said in an ornery way "Oh, you still want that."

Not a fancy place, just good food, and value pricing. I would go again, but not for a fancy date. I like this place, good western food.

If you love a big breakfast, than this is your place... Food is good , always very consistent quality, good service. Feels like a diner that hasn't really evolved with the times and probably doesn't care too..

A large (8 - 9" diameter) scone comes with each meal. We had Fish & Chips, and Salmon. Both entrees were outstanding. Our sever wasn't too attentive, but the meal made up for that. Fish is Halibut with a light batter, great tarter sauce. Will definitely return for a re-fill!. True Diner with lots of historical photos and memorabilia relative... More

If you're in town and you're looking for comfort food, then look no further than Midvale Mining Company. Their portions are large, their service is good, and I swear they cook everything in butter. It's a great place to get a home-cooked meal.

We were visiting the area from out of state and looking for a non-chain place to have breakfast. The Midvale Mining Company came highly recommended. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a weird smell. Later, after walking around the restaurant a bit, I realized it was the smell of old furniture (like you'd smell in an... More

Went here for breakfast with my mother in law. This is one of our regular breakfast stops. The scones are awesome and if you go away hungry then something isn't right. For the average eater there will be enough on your plate that you will not need to eat lunch. Great coffee and service, and right off the freeway. A... More

Another of my favorite breakfast spots. Good coffee, thick sliced bacon in copious quantities and thick, deliciously battered French toast. The staff is always polite, tables are clean and food arrives in short order. On weekends you may have a bit of a wait for a table before noon. This is a very popular weekend breakfast spot with the locals.

Anytime I'm in town I have to stop in for breakfast. Everything is made fresh. I always get Dales bells with a scone on the side. The scones are killer. My favorite breakfast in UT.

We are glad we followed the recommendation. Good traditional diner choices. We are from the mid-west and found it interesting what they call a "scone". (It was a fry bread.) Servings were generous, fair prices, good taste, friendly servers.
