Very Delicious Food served in a rustic, old west atmosphere. The ambience and décor of the place is cowboy through and through and throws back to Utah's frontier past. It honor's Porter Rockwell . . . a real live frontier lawman and Lehi Utah business owner back in the 1800's. He was as rough and tough as they came but... More

My wife and I met some friends here last Saturday evening and enjoyed a fabulous steak, the scones were wonderful as well. The salad bar needs a little help...but it is so nice to go someplace other than a "chain"! I would recommend this to anyone who misses "Diamond Lil's" or "Old Salt City Jail".

This place is really dirty - I have eaten there and its good food - but it is so dirty that it made me nervous to eat it

Horrible horrible service, went there last night, food was awful, service was extremely slow, and I understand the appeal of the keeping things old fashioned, but they need to invest in a computer that does the math for the cashiers! Using a calculator to add up our food is very outdated. You can keep the old time feel and update... More

We always wanted to try Porter's Place just based on the historical nature of the restaurant, however, it just never seemed to come to the top of the list based on mixed reviews. That, apparently, was a mistake. The food was good, the service was great, and the historical nature quite charming. The Suppertime menu is available all day, so... More

The atmosphere and story of the place are more interesting than the food. The service is good but the food lacks the pizzazz it needs to entice us back.

My wife and I had dinner at Porter's on Saturday, February 16, 2013. I had the tenderloin T-bone steak and she had the sirloin. We both had the ham and bean soup, since the salad bar is probably smaller than our dining room table and quite limited. The food was good enough, but the prices were a bit high, even... More

My husband and I ate at Porter's Place 10 years ago. Our experience was so bad that he's never had a desire to go back. Back then, the food and service was terrible and the restaurant felt so dirty. Today, I decided to give it another try with my 10-year-old. It was a Saturday afternoon and not busy so we... More

Porter's is a unique restaurant that beckons back to old-time Utah. An old-fashioned bar with tractor seats and a huge mirror and amazing drinks is in the front of the restaurant. Saloon-type rooms in the back and upstairs. The menu has food named after Porter Rockwell and old-time Utah references. The food is cooked by the owner-cook who has been... More

We live just down the road from Porter's. We have been there once before and thought the food was good (although pretty pricey for the food/venue), so for Christmas, I bought my husband a gift certificate. We went there tonight and were furious by the time we left. We walked in and waited to be seated. There was no greeting... More
