I discovered Mac Cool's over a year ago and have loved it. The variety of food is best described as Irish comfort food. And all of it is wonderful from the corn beef and cabbage to the shepard's pie. There are a variety of rooms to dine which adds to the experience, We enjoy the Celtic dinning area. Drinks are... More

We had a party of 10 and stopped by this pub because it was within walking distance of our hotel. First, the staff was awesome! Jovial and courteous! The waitress was a hoot. The food was excellent...there were NO complaints from anyone at our table. Would go again when I'm in the area.

I had a good meal here but my experience ordering drinks left much to be desired. The beer menu was not organized well and what was available didn't match the menu. Someone at my table wanted a cider and ordered a Stongbow, but the waiter said they were all out (the case with several drinks listed on the menu). The... More

Just there to have lunch. Good menu selection. Interesting decor, Irish Stonehenge forest clearing meets modern bar...sort of... I had the Ahi Tuna Caesar salad. The tuna was cooked correctly and dressing was homemade, thick and good.

One of our, "go to place" for a decent drink and grub. Make sure you ask to be seated in the back room; it's a bit more comfy.

While in SLC on a business trip we went to dinner here. Service was friendly and efficient, menu choices were plentifull. Those that ate at my table enjoyed the drinks and the food ordered. I would / will go again when in SLC. Liked the atmosphere of the cozy restuarant as well.

We went here for dinner and had some great beer and Sheppard's Pie. Also had the Lamb Riblets as an appetizer, I would order that for dinner, they were great. I was in town for business with 3 others and we loved the place so much we returned the next day for lunch.

I have been to Mac Cool's a couple of times. The food is consistently average. The environment is really fun in the evenings and the staff are very well trained and friendly. My biggest concern here is the cost of the food for what you get. I think they need ot review their pricing, but I will continue to visit... More
