Let me start with the restaurant hostess. She didn't seem friendly and was a little bit confused with what table is open and where to seat us. She was also visibly annoyed that our party of 5 didn't get to the restaurant at the same time. We finally got seated and the experience got better from that point on. Our... More

Great time, food, and beer. The service was quick. The bottled beer was legit beer. It's hard to find real beer in UT. We'll be back.

Roosters has some of the best fish tacos anywhere. Couple that with the Chocolate Stout - brewed by Roosters - and you have nearly the perfect meal.

Stopped in to try some of their beers they make themselves. Great variety and very nice staff that helped explain each. Just got some small appetizer since the Mormons say we must (funny how food delays the alcohol affecting you so instead of being buzzed in the restaurant, you're buzzed driving...genius!!!)

We love Roosters for family and friend lunches and dinners. Tasty food at an average price with lots of different and unique menu options. Large variety of beer, including locally brewed and homemade root beer. Try the bread pudding for dessert!

Roosters is a very nice pub and restaurant in Layton and Ogden. The Layton location has a comfortable atmosphere and good selection of dinner and luncheon choices. The Ogden location is a brewery and less Pub like as far as I am concerned. My girlfriend even uses them to cater Special events at Weber State and they are always top... More

Rooster's food is delicious. As a native of Ogden, I've eaten plenty of meals at the Rooster's on 25th Street. I've only had one bad experience in the many years I've been going there. I assumed that the Rooster's in Layton would be similar to the one in Ogden. And while that was true of the food, the service was... More

I live in Layton and have been to most if not all the restaurants in this city. By far the best is Roosters. They are quick to seat you. They have excellent staff and the food is consistantly good. They have really good fish taco,s, salmon, pasta, salads and soups. If you drink they have their own brews.

Good food and friendly staff. Nothing that really stands out, but a good local eatery and micro-brewery

So you do know that in Utah, you can only get a drink if you order food. Roosters is using that to their advantage. The brewery offerings are pretty good. But you can't get any brew if you don't chew. The food here is awful. So if you want some good beer, just order something cheap on the menu and... More
