Rooster's food is delicious. As a native of Ogden, I've eaten plenty of meals at the Rooster's on 25th Street. I've only had one bad experience in the many years I've been going there. I assumed that the Rooster's in Layton would be similar to the one in Ogden. And while that was true of the food, the service was... More

I live in Layton and have been to most if not all the restaurants in this city. By far the best is Roosters. They are quick to seat you. They have excellent staff and the food is consistantly good. They have really good fish taco,s, salmon, pasta, salads and soups. If you drink they have their own brews.

Good food and friendly staff. Nothing that really stands out, but a good local eatery and micro-brewery

So you do know that in Utah, you can only get a drink if you order food. Roosters is using that to their advantage. The brewery offerings are pretty good. But you can't get any brew if you don't chew. The food here is awful. So if you want some good beer, just order something cheap on the menu and... More

Enjoyed a taste full curry soup, clean flat iron steak for a decent price. Every time I visit Layton (2009, 2010 an 2014) I visit this restaurant. Their own brewed beer is a treat for those who enjoy good beers. Easy accessible for handicapped people.

They got a lot of different beers with crazy names and good snacks such as Buffalo Wings and Edamame

The food is good, but not outstanding. Service was average, but friendly. The beers are not my personal favorite. The manager that day seemed quite hasselled and was running around doing everyone else's jobs. It was apparent that several of the servers and greeters were uncomfortable around him. This was an unpleasant distraction as we could see the entrance from... More

Nice variety of beers. Also. Available for to go purchases. The food was good. A little over priced for portion size of the appetizers. The pizzas are delicious. Next time I'll skip the appetizers and order more beer.

I had a special they were having for the night which was Seafood Linguini. This was packed full of seafood that was delicious. I also had the Honey Wheat beer which was also a great tasting beer.

Utah has many odd drink service rules for restaurants, but Roosters is also a micro-brewery and serves their own brews. Very good too as we returned a second night to try the ones we missed. Great food ranging from bar snacks to full meals. We shall return!
