Sill's Old Time Tradition

Sill's is a Layton tradition. Sadly it moved from its original location but the food hasn't change. The Post Office Breakfast is my favorite. However, everything is great. And, they have scones as big as your head.

Nothing to write home about. Nothing about this place is fresh. Service was okay. It's fast and furious. Portion sizes were big and you can easily share. There is no hostess so you stand in line to get in. Your whole party must be together or you may not sit down.

I had never eaten scones before, and was one of the best gastronomic experiences in terms of breakfast.

The food was decent, nothing special. The wait was ridiculously long. Don't go Saturday morning unless you want to fight very large family crowds. Bottom line we're not going back.

Poor, brusque servicer who was slow to bring out food. The food is below average in quality, though the quantity is more than enough. The carpets, chairs, walks, etc were very greasy and dirty.

I love this place. They have a great breakfast selection. I always order the Dales, which is eggs, hash browns with country gravy, and the thickest bacon I've ever seen. It also comes with a scone the size of your head with honey butter. If you leave this place hungry, you're doing something wrong. You have to get there early,... More

A trip to Utah would be a sad affair if this must stop was missed! I've heard everything is good--but I ALWAYS get the scone because mmmmm....and you can't find Utah scones just anywhere. if there's a line--Trust me. it's worth the wait!
