We ate here for the first time, and won't be back for a second. Despite all the bad reviews on Yelp, I decided to give it a shot because the menu looked good, and you've got to take Yelp with a grain of salt. Neither of us liked our food. My loaded hash browns were a big disappointment. The gravy... More

If you love meat - this is your place. (Let me add that I am NOT a meat person - so, its a little jaded.) Hearty helpings of heavy meats, potatoes and starches….followed by big desserts. People all around were happily engaged in their meals. I'm sure I left 5 lbs heavier - and very full for a nap. Great... More

My family absolutely loves Moon Dogs, they have great prices and everyone's very friendly. I recommend this restaurant to any and everyone.

After spending years in Texas, my family and I know BBQ. Well, we know what we like, anyway. And we did not like any of Moon Dog's BBQ. I got the Ultimate platter that came with pulled pork, sausage, brisket, ribs, slaw, and beans. Here's why we didn't like it, BBQ should be served throughout the day as it is... More

We decided to try something new. The meat was delicious and the meal was pretty good. The owner came to our table and visited with us. The food was better than the surroundings.

My wife and I thought we'd try Moon Dog's Cafe, as we just recently moved to this area. A little underwhelmed with the experience. The good: The scone we had was really good. The onion petals were also very tasty. The OK: The Chile Verde omelette was OK. The verde sauce had a nice flavor to it. Pork was tender.... More

I was introduced to Moon Dog's by friends who live locally and i haven't been disappointed. The food is good and the staff are a lot of fun. This is a stopping point for me whenever I'm in Salt Lake from here out.

We ate here for dinner. The server did not have skill for a group of only 6 of us. I ordered no onions but they were throughout my mushroom burger. She never came back to fix our drinks.

Have eaten here several times alone and with family, owner is always hovering around and making conversation. Huge scones, and the portions are excellent and tasty. I now avoid theier omelets unless I feel like dabbing the griddle grease off with a napkin, I have had a conversation twice with the owner but for some reason the only way they... More

Went for Breakfast with granddaughter. Only two other tables were occupied but it took a long time to get our food. When she first brought out my plate the bacon was completely raw. I asked her to please take it back and have it cooked more. After another ten minutes she returned with the bacon still completely inedible and said... More
