Authentic and Tasty!

This was my first experience with Indian food and, boy, was it ever a great choice. The staff was very helpful with menu choices, and the food was fantastic. I always recommend it to people looking for a new place to dine.

My wife and I love Indian cuisine and looked forward to our first trip to Layton's Taste of India. It left us underwhelmed. We tried out the assorted fritters for an appetizer. The chicken pakora was good. The onion and vegetable pakoras were OK. The vegetable samosa was disappointing. All were fairly bland -- not much on flavor. The cheese... More

We've eaten at Taste of India on over thirty different occasions, most recently this week. As always, we can't help but order Lamb Saag and Chana Masala, medium heat, with a basket of Naan. That easily feeds our family of five, though my son hopes we will figure out more ways to return for more Chana Masala. Restaurant.com has some... More

never have a bad meal there. Pretty authentic compared to Delhi. Plenty of traditional northern style dishes to try.

The restaurant offers a combo menu. You get 2 different selections out of 6 + naan bread + rice. Very tasty, but as in the title, not really spicy, although we asked for extra spicy

Really good food. I especially like the service staff, they help us try things we would not otherwise get to enjoy. Fun for spouse dates and with the kids,

Excellent food, fantastic service, and you get your own iPad at the table to kill time when you are waiting on your food (which is usually so fast, we just leave it alone). Lots of vegetation options (sometime hard to find). Easy to get to off I-15 (maybe 1/2 mile off the freeway), lots of parking and usually not too... More

This is the best Indian food I've had outside of India. However, the food at the Layton restaurant is better than the food at the newer Bountiful restaurant. True to authenticity, the flavors vary a bit, as many Indian cooks don't measure their ingredients or spices, but cook by feel and experience. My favorite dish here is Butter Chicken. Another... I don't know a lot about Indian food -- and our server was very eager to explain everything to us. From start to finish, it was a wonderful and personalized experience. The food and service were fantastic, and the atmosphere was great too. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this is not a place to miss if... More

This was my first time eating Indian food. It was fantastic. The lamb was scrumptious. The waitress was very helpful in describing the correct way to eat this selection.
