I have been here over 30 times and it is always great! My favorite item is the pulled pork sandwich. They are very friendly to military, gave my husband a free meal after returning from the Middle East. Great service!

I have been to Holy Smoke BBQ on several occassions and always had great food and service each time. Small family owned with a warm western atmosphere. From brisket to ribs to the deep fried dill pickles, you will find everything here complete comfort food. I tell people all the time that this is my favorite place for BBQ.

The is our favorite BBQ place in Layton. Great kickback atmosphere with excellent ribs. We also enjoy their selection of traditional and creative BBQ sauces. It is a joy when the owner is there and makes a point to visit with the customers.

I read about this place so wanted to try it. It was just okay. I liked the variety of sauces. I thought my mac and cheese was from a box. I expected more as I love mac and cheese. The corn muffin was moist as well as the sweet potato fries. The service was friendly but to get our food... More

I heard about this place as one of the best for barbecue. We went at lunch and it was crowed, but the service was extremely slow. Once I gotten my meal, I thought that the slowness of the service would be memory because the food would be very tasty. I found the food quite ordinary and nothing to write home... More

It is pricey for what you get, but the meat is good. What really stands out is the variety and flavor of the sauces that they offer. My wife and I got a sampler platter and ended up sampling about 15 different flavors of sauces. All of the sauces were excellent and had tremendous flavor. The mango one was by... More

A bit pricey for counter service barbeque. Tried the pulled pork because they were all out of any variety of chicken. Good smokey flavors in the pork and a nice choice of sauces to accompany. Cole slaw was good. Would definitely eat here again.

Best BBQ in the area. Great pulled pork, brisket, ribs and chicken. They smoke onsite and follow the Kansas City method of smoking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We purchased 4 platters that we shared. You receive three sides per order and we enjoyed fried okra, fried pickles, coleslaw, beans and mac and cheese. The space is tight... More

We stayed next door at the Hilton and didn't want to venture far for dinner. The staff was very friendly. She explained all of the options and offered to answer any questions. We agreed on the sampler platter. When the food arrived I couldn't believe how much we had. The ribs fell off the bone. Amazing! The wide variety of... More

We tried a "sampler" plate with a variety of meats, sauces and sides. The baby back ribs were our favorites. The Brisket was fine. We asked for and received moist rather than dry. The pulled pork with the Georgia style, vinegar based sauce was easily our favorite...although folks used to sugary sweet tomato sauces to slather on their Q will... More
