Great place to eat with over-stuffed sandwiches, great sides, and fast service with slow cooked barbecue. Rated highly in the SLC area we had to check it out and we were rewarded with our efforts. Numerous choices of sauces from mild to spicy with names like, 'Better than your Honeymoon', which was definitely the sweetest. We are sorry we'd are... More

Loved the self serve sauces, you could try several different samples to find your favorite, very good flavors.

The brisket is chopped. It has a nice amount of smoke and moist too. The same can be said for the pulled pork. Hush puppies are different and delicious. The baked beans were too sweet and has either rotella salsa or pimento mixed into them. As other have mentioned, the Mac n cheese was a little gritty. The sauces were... More

We love Holy Smokes BBQ. We've done both dine in, take out, and catering for a party we hosted. Every time, I am reminded of just how delish this place is. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the green jello in the kids' meals because it always melts on the way home.

I first discovered Holy Smoke on Antelope Island. They had a stand during a cowboy poetry festival and the food was incredible. Then found out they had a restaurant we went the next day. For me what makes a great BBQ joint stand out is the sauce. They create their own sauces and all are incredible. If you love good... More

Being a chef, and someone from the south who is always looking for great BBQ, my mother suggested we try this establishment. I have to say that north of Utah county this is the best you will find. They offer generous portions, moist, tender meats, and tasty sauces. The staff is super friendly, and it has always been a great... More

I will never give a bad review to a bbq joint that not only offers fried okra, but hush puppies as well! Tried the brisket and catfish. Brisket was a little dry but still good with some bbq sauce. Catfish was outstanding!

This is one of our go to places. We eat here about once a week. Great pulled chicken and love the mashed sweet potatoes! I don't get that they serve a small bite of green jello with every meal - but the food is tasty and the service is exceptional.

I have been here over 30 times and it is always great! My favorite item is the pulled pork sandwich. They are very friendly to military, gave my husband a free meal after returning from the Middle East. Great service!

I have been to Holy Smoke BBQ on several occassions and always had great food and service each time. Small family owned with a warm western atmosphere. From brisket to ribs to the deep fried dill pickles, you will find everything here complete comfort food. I tell people all the time that this is my favorite place for BBQ.
