Prepare yourself for a ribs, beef brisket and out of this world customer service. This eating area is a little small but what it lacks in ambiance it makes up in quality of food. The pulled pork is juicy and when you add a side of Blaine's Beans your mouth will say thank you.

Holy Smoke is a good little local BBQ spot with fair prices and tasty food. The good: they have a great selection of sauces that you can choose from--get a side of fries so you can sample them all! They have free peanuts while you wait. The food is pretty good. The staff is super friendly. The bad: It tends... More

This has been the best place for bbq so far. Of the limited places here, this one has my vote. It is the only bbq that my family and I will go back to. Brisket, great taste and smoke. Ribs fall in the same category. BBQ sauces are good. Didn't have to use them to make anything taste better. Just... More

We were in Layton for some Anime convention & across from our hotel is Holy Smoke Restaurant. It is one of those a hole in a wall kinda restaurant with family oriented feeling. I love the peanuts and the funny puns around their sauces. (Very catchy!) I ordered the burger and I was suprise that there was a jello on... More

This little place looks like a hole in the wall in a modern strip mall, but the food is REALLY good! A testament to the food: my nephew-in-law from western NC has decided that this will be his go-to place for BBQ while he is stationed at Hill AFB. My sister & I had the brisket & my niece &... More

As usual the food was delicious and rivaled any barbecue that I have ever had.The price is very reasonable and the pitmaster does a great job of preparing the meat just right. also portions are very large and my wife and I both got completely full by sharing a three... I don't know how to start. Very reasonable prices. Smoked ribs were awesome. Smoked brisket was tender and tasty. Loved even the potato salad and Cole slaw. The hot peanut appetizers may be a little too hot for some people ,but I enjoyed them too.

This restaurant is located near a lot of the hotels in Layton. I went here for lunch one day. It was solid food, but noting spectacular. The food came quickly and there were a lot of sauce options. Just a FYI the sauces are vinegar based, so they are liquidy. The sauces are also more of the mild variety. I... More

stopped in around 7:30 on a Thursday night. The food was excellent, the only issue was that it was apparent that they weren't real busy and were trying to get ready to wind down for the evening. Felt like i was slowing them down. That said the ribs and the pulled pork were excellent.

Lived here four years and never went in the place...finally did and I've been back 6 times in the past month or so. It's a little out of my way, or I would eat there more often. I highly recommend the turkey sandwich on Mon-Wed and the tri-tip on Tues-Thurs lunch specials - you won't be disappointed!
