After reading all the glowing reviews, the wife and I decided to give it a try. We ordered a couple of meat plates. Quarter chicken with fried okra and cut corn. Brisket with jalapeno bites and potato salad. When our food arrived the smokey aroma was awesome and we thought we were in for a real treat. Sadly both the... More

While staying in the area, the name of this place caught my eye and I thought I would give it a try. On a Wednesday night at 6:30, the place was moderately busy with couples, friends, young ladies and good old boys. The restaurant is “decorated” with cowboy themed paraphernalia and the staff was very friendly. The manager made a... More

This restaurant is right across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn that I was staying at, so I walked over for dinner. I was surprised when I got to the restaurant because one of the previous reviews said you could wear jeans but it was a nice steak house. If your wear anything nicer than jeans, you will be... More

The pulled pork and ribs were smoked correctly and had good flavor, if they would just serve them hot rather than barely warmed they would be a lot better. The place is kept clean and the service is very good. All of the side dishes were tasty (and consierbly hotter than the meat). They have a wide selection of sauces... More

I would put the food taste equal to Famous Dave’s and quality of food and atmosphere more in line with a nice restaurant. You can still come in jeans but it is a nice steak house style restaurant. Prices are mid-range and staff has always been nice although never outstanding. A good alternative if you want something new…may or may... More

From the Midwest, great price and very good. Military and police discount which was very pleasant. Recommend going if in town.

Great little place to get some good barbeque. Prices are reasonable and there are many menu choices.

Tried the two meat plate, ST. LOUIS PORK RIBS and BEEF BRISKET, with two sides ANTELOPE ISLAND BUFFALO CHIPS and Heidi’s JALAPEÑO HOT SPOTS. There is about a dozen sauces to try. Everything was awesome. Loved it. Mango BBQ sauce was the best sauce. and very friendly staff. You guys do it right.

I love this place! Its the BEST BBQ around and its local - not some nationwide chain. The signs inside make me laugh and they have some bands play sometimes, which is fun. On weeknights, I can get a free bbq sandwich with the coupon they currently have on a local website www.godavis.biz. I love their sauce especially the Sweet... More
