We set out to create a fun place to eat great food, served by really friendly people, in a relaxifying atmosphere, surrounded by cool art & good music. Simple. We want our place to be a spot where you can come and have a wonderful time after a fantastic day of hiking, a long day of driving, or a lazy, waste-lots-of-time-doing-nothin' day & find an oasis of enjoyment for your senses. There's a reason we don't have WiFi. Chill. Exhale. Sit. Listen. Look around. Power down. Kill the phone. Stow the tablet. Talk to the people you're dining with. Talk to the people sitting next to you. Enjoy your meal. Don't rush.(Unless you've been at the table for three hours, then you need to: eat it & beat it!. And no, we don't mean eat the table, that would take a long time and the splinters are hard to digest). Smile.

Great food, good service

The double pork chop was juicy and nicely cooked, the red bean soup with wild boar bacon was very nice, the red trout was very good and nicely presented. And I really liked the bread pudding desert! We have been to this great place on all,of our trips to Kanab. The food is wonderful. You can't go wrong here! There aren't many high end places in Kanab for a special treat.

Yep, it was as delicious as it sounds. And the Chocolaholic Mousse was very tasty as well! The ambiance is also very cool and fun!

We had to wait a little while to get a table, but it was worth it. They had great food and drinks. I'm not surprised that they have a high trip advisor rating. Take a look at the art gallery upstairs. There's some nice local photography on display.

We generally liked our meals, my husband got the trout. And i got the curried chicken. My husband liked the trout, i thought the curry was too sweet over the coconut. Jasmine. Rice. The homemade hummus and pita were excellent, poor choices of wine, had to buy a whole, overpriced bottle to get something you like. 48 dollars for a... More

We visited the Rocking V several years ago and are happy to report that it's just as good as ever! Place has a great vibe and equally great food. Be sure to make a reservation. We made ours a week before we came.

We've been to Kanab many times and we always make sure that we have at least two meals at the Rockin V. Usually the day we arrive and the day we depart. Food and service are consistently top-notch.

We went for dinner twice. Second time was very good, my wife had the pork chop, and I had the chicken marsala. Food is well presented, very tasty, prices are what you would expect for good food in a touristy town - $100-125 for two with wine. First time I ordered the pork chop without garlic, they cooked it without... More

Great drinks and an interesting menu. My steak was done to a perfect medium rare. Maybe the Greek salad was among the top two or three ever. Service was good and food well priced. Not too large a selection but adequate for sure.

We discovered the Rocking V as soon as we hit town. I could have eaten every meal there. Great friendly service, yummy drinks and food. Felt like we were part of the neighborhood.
